  1. I have been placing caches since 2011 and through the years many things regarding adding a picture to your cache listing has changed. The last time I added a picture I uploaded picture, opened the picture and copied the link. I used that link img src = "link" and the picture showed in the listing. Now the picture goes to your gallery and you cannot open it to get a link.

    Can someone help please ?

This will be interesting. There is a line somewhere that people will draw for themselves and it will be different die everyone. Some examples:

Let's say a group are out caching and get to a cache on a road sign that is just out of reach. One person jumps on the back of the second to retrieve the cache. I am sure that everyone in the group will sign the log (me included). Then the group gets to a tree with a cache  high up and one climbs the tree. All sign? Then they get into a car and stop at the bottom of a hill. Only a few walk up. All sign?  After that they drive to the start of a 3 km hike. Only some hike. Who signs? The next stop is at the bottom of Koffiebus. Some climb and some not. Also someone got up early in the morning and packed the sandwiches for the trip. Can they sign?

Each person will draw their line somewhere.

From a personal point of view the above is the reason we prefer caching alone.

I also prefer to cache alone and I totally agree with you and Spesbona.

Saturated as in caches per active cachers. Not physical saturation on the ground. Cachers/Sq km compares with  caches/Sq km

There are active cachers with 2000 plus finds but only 5 or less hidden. The Karma score gives a good indication.

  4. I predict it will get worse.

Looking at the WC where I am from, cachers like to find caches and FTF's but are not prepared to give back.

They like to find them but don't want to place them.

  5. Hi Danie, it would be a shame if the interesting and informative service which you provide were to cease - I for one have greatly appreciated and enjoyed your postings and the (admittedly few) responses - but I would fully understand your position if it did, given the time and effort involved in producing the material. Is there any way in which the availability and content of this forum could be promoted, eg. at geocaching events or through GC web sites . . . any ideas out there?

    Ditto

I look at the stats everyday and find them very interesting.
