  1. There is one at the Nashville Exit (50) it is GCWY3D. It is at a Gas Station that is barely off the interstate. No traffic lights to go thru. Chuck
  2. I have a list of way points in a txt file that I need to load on a Garmin GPS 72. How can I convert this data to load? Thanks
  3. There is a chance we might be going. We just found out this week that we are pregnant so that might not allow us to come.
  4. I use an HP iPAQ. And I use GPX Sonar. I like the paperless, but I haven't completly figured out GPX Sonar. Its a lot better than printing out the cache pages. Because we never carried the book of caches with us, and often had to go back to vehicle to look up info, now we just pull out the iPAQ and find out what we need. I also have DeLorme for handhelds and a Earthmate Blue Logger GPS that I use with the iPAQ
  5. Mainly the 05 Chevy TrailBlazer, I would like to do more caches with My 6x6 AATV
  6. I try to stay out the woods during the fire arm deer seasons.
  7. I hit a turkey on moring on my way to work. It startles you when a regular sized bird hits the windshield, let alone a turkey. I almost hit a flock of them this weekend while in KY at LBL. Had the brakes locked up, hoping the 4 wheeler and argo were tied down good enough.
  8. Wolverine Warriors sorry to hear about your loss. Accidents like this show there are to many deer and that the hunting season is a good thing.
  9. My wife and I live in Mt. Vernon. Maybe we can get together sometime. There are some caches in the Carbondale area we have been wanting to go find. Chuck
  10. I mainly mentioned the deer seasons because there are a lot of hunters who only hunt deer and some of them can be dangerous. Shooting at sounds with out actually seeing a whole deer.
  11. Shot Gun Season for deer is coming up fast in IL, Just thought I would post the season dates. I myself intend to stay out of any public woods during this time. 1st season is Nov. 17th to the 19th. 2nd season is Nov. 30th to Dec. 3rd. Muzzleloader season is Dec. 8th to the 10th. Bow season has been going on since Oct. 1st and ends Jan. 10th. Please becareful in the woods this time of year. More info can be found on the IL DNR Page.
  12. I like to Fish, Camp, Garden, and Offroad.

  17. I am thinking about placing a Cache that would require the use of an ATV to get to it. I was just wanting to see what sort of response it might get. It would be near GCRFDD So would any one be up for looking for it?
  18. I was having the same problem and removing the apostrophe made it work.

I have been saving the route out of google earth as *.kml but when i upload them and it shows the name in the preview and I click to upload them and it says to select a route, even when I have the box next to the route checked. any body else having trouble? I am currently in Florida and am going to be leaving to go to memphis tomorrow, and then back home to Illinois on Tuesday. and would like to use this new feature. Thanks Chuck

  23. I already have a amphibious geocaching vehicle. An Argo Bigfoot 6x6. If you look real close at the handle bar you can see my Emap mounted on it.
