  1. I e-mailed them back within a few minutes after he sent me the e-mail two days ago. Sorry but maybe you deal with people who are a lot different than myself. But I went to the source of the problem first. I was just looking for other opinions or advice. Maybe I'm in the wrong place....
  2. I recently hid a cache on a nature trail that is public property. It is located right next to a school so the "admin" archived my cache. I hid a cache in this same area back in 2004 and had no problems getting it approved. I had many visitors to the cache before it was damaged in a storm. The "admin" says that it "LOOKS" like the cache is on the school property. How can the "admins" to the website archive your cache when they have never been to the area themselves? They sent me this long email explaination telling about all the problems with caches being located near schools. It's not my fault that the trail is NEXT to the school. Just because it "LOOKS" like the cache is on school property does not mean that it is. I imagine that they use google earth to look at the location before approving it. I mean come on how many caches have you guys gone yourselves that have been close to school property. This "admin" says that I need approval from the school but why? It is NOT on school property but PUBLIC property. The kicker is that MY FAMILY donated most of the area that the nature trail occupies. Anyone else see a problem with this? What can I do to fix this big mistake? Also how can they archive this cache when they approved my first one in the same exact location? It would still be there if it wasn't for the storm.
  3. i am curious and want to know how the system of approving caches works. i hid 2 so far but the second one, which i hid last sunday has not been accepted yet. thanks

  6. I have a tb stuck in a cache called "This Ones for Freedom" near Hopewell Junction, NY. Its been in the cache for 3 months. If you live near there and want to help me get this bug on the road, i would really appreciate it. Thanks!
  7. There are two geocachers in my area that go caching together. They hide geocaches together but one of them claims to hide the cache and then the other one logs it as a find. Is this ok to do?
