  1. They have pocket brochures for bird watching and for eatable plants in the wild, don't you think they would have them for tree identifying.I have both of these somewhere. Search online for them, I bet you could find some to print to take with you.
  2. I use GSAK and cachemate to go paperless and it's easy to get caches on to my 60CSx and Palm Tungsten E2
  3. I have a TB hotel about 15 miles from my house and I revisit all the time to drop off TB, so revisit caches all you like. Put a note not a found on it again unless you want your numbers up and the owner of the cache doesn't delete numerous find on their caches
  4. I have a nuvi 200 and it is good to put caches on for the auto to get you close to the cache but I use my 60CSx to get to the cache after the nuvi gets me close
  5. This says it all. Not all place outlaw going into cemeteries at night. I've played tackle football in an old cemetery at night before.
  6. It's a pin like the Olympic pins or collectible pins.
  7. I have had a 210 and it is easier to get GSAK and send them to your GPSr. Trust me you'll be a lot happier.
  8. I go to Flea Markets and look for them. They are about $4.00 for the 50 cal cans and $2.00 for the 30 cal ones down here in Alabama. you can always look online for the Military auction they have sometime but the down size about that is you'll be buy a lot more cans then you'll use. But you can always sale they to other cachers.
  9. I bought a wooden walking stick and I customize it myself, plus the wooden ones are great to beat back briars and to scare creepy crawlies away. I would not hit anything with the metal ones.
  10. I go by a TB hotel everyday. I vist is about once a month just to check out the TBs and this is what I do when I drop off a TB
  11. If you can put coords in it it could but being a Streetpilot, I doult that you could. That GPSr sound like it's more for street Nav.
  12. Stealth doen't have to mean being sneaky. It just mean not to give away the hide. Act like you belong there and not one will notice you looking for the hide.

  14. I use a PathTag as my sig item but I'll pick up any sig items that I don't have in my collection, even those business card y'all throw out. Check out pathtags dot com and maybe you could make a sig item there.
  15. Not right off hand but you could probably go to Auto Zone and see if they have thread gauges. That should tell you what type of thread you have.
  16. Np primer needed, unless you have a really rusty can. If there is rust you might want to sand it off and give it a squirt of a primer. The paint the can comes with acts like a primer. In fact sometimes I just keep the original green layer and just squirt some browns and blacks over it (making sure I cover the military markings) You also my want to degrease them. Most I have bought had oil all over them
  17. Are you using GSAK? It will make hot syncing the cache a lot easier.
  18. I treat my caching cloths with a insect repellent for cloths and myself with DEET, in my hair also, I just hope the DEET on the hair doesn't make it fall out.
  19. Did you have everything you need the the pack? if the answer is yes, who cares what other think. I take what I think I'll need if i don't use it so what. I would rather something I may need then not have it when I do need it.
  20. PSSSSSSSSSSS.. I know where the log book is but you have to be a transdementional being to get it.
  21. I have geocaching muggle cards that I give them and explains it. The card has GC.com address on it.
  22. There is no way to make it happen but to input it manually. I have had a 100, 210 and a 500 LE and never found a way to do it. Get a PDA and cachemate you like it more like some logs on the cache your looking for. I don't know of any other GPSr that can do that either but I don't know everything.
  23. You could do like a cacher in Alabama is on The Alabama Autobahn series. His listed caches with part of the bonus cache coords in it. To get the bonus you had to find all the others. You logged the caches like a regular cache, the bonus also.
  24. His question was, could you load caches from GC, not what is a better unit. The 210 is a good first unit. I had one myself, as for loading cache from GC, I have not heard of a way. You could always buy GSAK and do it that way. It works great for that.
  25. I use Camo tape on mine. Works great. You can get the camo tape in the paint section of any big box mart
