  1. I'm making my own Caches and looking to buy a geocache stencil I can spray onto the side of ammo boxs, lock & lock boxes. But can't find anyone in the uk who sells them? thanks
  2. We are newbies as well, and have our 2 year old who loves coming geocaching, and always before we go anywhere he says 'Ready Steady Goooooooooo' though had to shorten it a little.
  3. Great thread, have read through the whole lot and has taken me 3 days on and off.. Some magical ideals for caches and tip my hat to all of them. Im looking forward to making a few and adding my own twist to them. Some of those small ones are evil, and I would be pulling my hair out trying to find some of these. Think Im going to mix up some evil ones, with some funny & crazy ones. Top work all...
  4. Great job done on those Briansnat! Thanks for everyones input. I'm looking forward to trying some out. I think it'll be trial & error to start with. Briansnat - I like the way you have geocache sprayed on top, do you have a stencil you made to do this?
  5. Thanks for your replies already! Yours is exactly what I was thinking of doing, painting them and using something to cover them. Is the spray paint just a flat camo paint? Im from the uk and trying to find something useful. Have been amazed at some of those caches on the thread sword fern sent me. I think some of those would drive me insane trying to find them!
  6. HI, Just wanted to know if anyone has any good, easy tips for camouflaging my lock & lock containers? Thanks
  7. Thanks for all your replies. I looked at a few and decided to go for Garmin Etrez Venture HC, Found a nearly new one for £50 on Ebay so went for it. Now will have the task of trying to work it all out lol..
  8. Sorry to sound a little simple here, but what are pocket queries?
  9. Im new to this as well, and have not signed up to the premium membership. Is it worth becoming a member and what are the benefits if I do? Thanks
  10. I think £100/£150 would be my max budget.
  11. Hi, I've been doing geocaching for a few months now and we love it. Mainly using my iphone 4 to find the caches. Now we are wanting to plant caches, but are a little worried the iphone doesn't give very accurate readings. So we are going to buy a handheld GPS. Could anyone advise on a GPS that would be good for a beginner? This will only get used mainly for the co ordinates when planting caches. Many Thanks
