  1. Hi I have a suggestion. I love it when caches are released. The only issue is that they are often released in our area it is after 9pm as that is when our reviewer has time to go through them. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m not having a go at the reviewer at all. It would be great if that when we created a new cache there was an option for when the cache is to be released that it is either at the reviewers discretion or at a random time selected by the computer system or even better….if we could select a time of day. So once approved it just goes into the que and is released at random or at the selected time. As it is a shame when they get released so late at night, it means some families can’t enjoy the fun of the FTF hunt. If it was released at random then it is fair to all, even if that meant it randomly was released at 3am!
  2. Thanks for your help guys...I think I have it working now :-)
  3. Hi, did another try...still zero :-(
  4. Sam, Please explain to me what you are doing. If you are downloading the pocket query straight from GS.com then you just need to download it to your desktop and decompress the zip file and then copy only the .gpx file, not the *wpts.gpx to the Geocache directoy on your eX310. I hope this helps. Also, I would invite you to join the Magellan users form at http://www.magellaninsiders.com David Magellan Insider/Beta Tester Hi David I'm not even getting that far. Unable to get any records to show! But another problem you might be able to help with is. I am putting in a way point, new coordiantes, I check them, but then it wants to take me 50k's in a different direction? unsure what I'm doing wrong there?
  5. Hi I am having problems doing a Pocket query. I thought I was doing everything right, but it comes up with 0. I'm wanting to do a once off pocket query for my current location in New Zealand for my Magellan explorist 310. Can anyone help. Cheers Sam
  6. This will make you laugh...i bought one yesterday and within the first 20 seconds I somehow deleted the maps!!!...ok...stop laughing. I have emailed Magellan to see if I can get the maps back.
  7. Thank you soooooo much for the quick reply. Yes, I will get the 310 Please forgive me, as I'm male and getting older :-p I looked in the manual and couldn't see where it mentioned about been able to enter in coordiates? I do suffer from Male blindness.
  8. Hi. I am wanting to buy a GPS unit, have been looking at Magellan Explorist 310 or 110 Both seem good for what I need. But my questions is, how do I enter in the coordinates, as some caches you have to solve the puzzle and it will then give you the last few digits to the GZ. Eg: Final is located at: 36° 54.ABC 174° 54.DEF How do you enter these in (once I have figured out the final numbers)? or do these unit’s not let you? Cheers Sam
