Ditto, and a 3rd vote for gpsdiscount.com. I've gotten mad at times but I'm going back for my third unit from them. There reaches a point when the margin just can't be lowered, the T-shirt is nice (not cheap), and you can get a nice perk if you have the unit shipped to a business address.

Where did you find that deal, if I may ask? The cheapest place I've been able to find the 60cs is Amazon.com. I checked the price on the 76cs after reading your post and it was considerably more expensive after figuring in the City Select software. The gps was $521 and the software $107. I'm curious if the place you found your deal would have the 60cs at a good price as well. Sorry, I didn't notice your post until now. GetFeetWet.com And they extend the warranty another year Hope this is permitted (haven't seen many references to vendors) but I find the best prices for Garmin GPS's at www.gpsdiscount.com. I've purchased two GPS's through them and will purchase a third shortly. In addition to the lowest price they throw in a free T-shirt. Additional hint: if you have the unit sent to a business address your either get a break on the shipping cost, or you get quicker delivery at no extra charge (I can't remember which). However, some accessories are as cheap or cheaper on Garmin's site. I'm aware of four GPS's being purchased from gpsdiscount.com and they seem to have very good customer service.

I've only owned Garmin (Emap & GPSMAP 76S). Customer relations with Garmin is not that great. Automated replies, no indication of where the software is going, requests for changes in the software are replied to with, "There are no plans for that at this time." They don't seem to want customer feedback. My next GPS will probably be a '76CS but don't expect much in the CR department. My son experienced even less satisfactory CR than I have when he was shipped a 'wonkie' '76CS. He did receive a replacement units but other issues were not addressed or satisfactorily resolved. The grass seems rather brown on both sides of the fence.

If this has been answered point me in the right direction and I'll search for it...If three registered Geocachers find a cache together, how can one log the cache so all three get credit and counted without each one have to do a separate log? TIA. Stockley_true
