  1. Premium membership trials are now available (for users who have not previously had Premium) by contacting Geocaching HQ via the Help Center.
  2. I believe if you're a Project-GC paying member, you can use the "Loop" filter on the Map - Hidden Month page. Enter "2" into the Loop filter and it'll show you the available caches to fill your needed months.
  3. We're going to study other available tools and see what Google might make available in the coming year. In any case, there are no plans to discontinue the GeoTours & Reward Geotrails database at this time.
  4. Unfortunately, still don't have any positive news on this issue. Since the forum software is not "ours", but rather is licensed from the developer (Invision), we have to submit a support ticket to them when a problem like this comes up. Their first suggested fix did not work, so now we're awaiting the next suggestion.
  5. Any issues with Premium membership trial codes, whether you want to request one or you can't get the code to work, need to go through the Help Center.
  6. I have edited your post to remove the tracking number, and replaced it with the trackable's reference number. (More information about keeping tracking numbers safe is in this post.) If you go to the trackable's page, you will see that someone retrieved it from a cache in September. It appears they did not log the trackable online when they dropped it into the cache where you found it.
  7. Thanks for posting about this. Upon further investigation, it's not just the Waymarking forum posts that aren't showing up in the "Everything posted by..." results. It appears to be at least anything posted in any of the Geocache Types and Additional GPS Based Gameplay sub-forums. We'll look into it and see what we can figure out.
  8. Before asking in the forums, there are several sources of answers to Frequently Asked Questions at your disposal. Geocaching Help Center - use this searchable resource to find information on topics including Getting started in geocaching Geocaching account issues Trackables Premium membership Geocaching app and GPS usage And much more! For questions about forum usage, see: Forum article in the Geocaching Help Center Forum guidelines Suggested forum etiquette Premium Membership trials: Currently, 7-day trials are available for users who have not previously had Premium Membership by contacting Geocaching HQ via the Help Center.
  9. This Help Center article may be useful to you, as it addresses some common issues with indoor hides.
  10. Premium membership trials are available for users who have not previously had Premium by contacting Geocaching HQ via the Help Center.
  11. Moved to the appropriate sub-forum. You may wish to view this list of geocaching groups and organizations and check out the ones in the Atlanta area.
  12. Premium membership trials are now available (for users who have not previously had Premium) by contacting Geocaching HQ via the Help Center. Due to this change, we are closing this thread.
  13. There is a thread covering these questions: Premium -- is it worth it? Please post in the existing thread.
  14. I'm not an EC owner, but if I may give my perspective as someone who has sometimes provided what could be termed short, bare minimum answers. I'm also someone who lately is avoiding newer ECs that tend to require interpretive, longer responses. For me, the joy in attempting an EC is in being introduced to an interesting geological feature. I like to arrive at the site, read about what makes it unique, and be able to correctly answer the question(s) by reading the cache page and viewing the feature. What I'm finding more and more is COs asking me to speculate on the feature, which often requires research beyond what's presented on the cache page or at the location. Then, the CO will sometimes tell me my interpretation is incorrect, and I feel like I'm back in school, getting a bad grade on a paper. To be honest, it has never occurred to me that an EC CO would be interested in having a conversation with me about the geology at the site. So, your post has shown me a different perspective. But given that the post-visit research and "paperwork" is my least favorite part of the EC experience, I'm more likely to pass on ECs that invite me into a conversation. Just two cents from an interested observer
  15. I'm not sure this is one we would add to the list, since there's currently nothing on the cache page about a geocoin. I'm not seeing how a cacher would know that one is available or how to go about obtaining it.
  16. Your account would not be eligible to redeem a trial code since you have had Premium membership in the past.
  17. A couple years ago, I attempted a few Visit Utah GeoTour caches during a trip to Salt Lake City. The way the GeoTour works is you earn a county patch if you find 3 of the 5 GeoTour caches in that county. I was able to earn the Summit County patch, and figured that was the end of it for me. Earlier this year, a friend convinced me to try to earn patches for the remaining 28 Utah counties. Earn 10 patches and you get a trackable geocoin. Earn all 29 patches and you're eligible for a Utah GeoAmbassador jacket or a frame for displaying your patches. We spent seven days in early July driving all over Utah. Our trip was a great success and a whole lot of fun. I've participated in many GeoTours, and this one is among the very best.
  18. Thanks for the reminder! It's now added.
  19. It appears you have been a Premium member in the past. Accounts that have had Premium are not eligible to redeem a trial code.
  20. Possibly you're confusing official GeoTours with other reward geotrails that do not have the GeoTour designation? In any case, there are currently 7 official GeoTours in Canada, so you're map is working correctly. Other non-GeoTour reward geotrails are included in the map/list linked in this forum.
  21. Closing since this is being discussed in an existing thread.
