The TB log now says I just placed it in the cache. So I shows I held on to it for that whole time! I wish someone would have logged it after I put it in the cache. I should have remembered.

Miragee I did what you said and it worked although I do not know if it actually is still in that cache since there is no new logs for it since I picked it up months ago.

I picked up a TB and placed it in a cache a few months ago but have seemed to have forgotten to log it or a glitch or something happened. Anyways I have been out of geocaching since until this week. When I logged onto my account, there was that TB! I remember placing it in a cache and thought I logged it, but do not know how to get it out of my "possession"?

Which Etrex model do you have? If it is the vista or the legend, it has a digital compass built in to it. If you are travling at a speed slower that what the settings are set to, the arrow will not point in the direction of the GPS movement but in the direction it is pointing. The screen has a white arrow above it like a compass.

how would I go about upgrading the City Select 6.0?

The unit I am looking at is new but clearanced, I comes with a computer cable, city select 6.0, auto mount, lanyard, case, video....for $150.00. That is why I am asking, it sounds like a deal to me.

A friend of mine had a legend the lost the top part of the screen upon further investigation it was discovered that the wires or connection to the screen are in the form of a tape along the edge of the lcd. The Tape started to peel and the connection was lost on that portion. With time it got worse. Cannot be fixed unless sent to garmin. They wanted $125.00 for the repair. Thats why I pulled it apart to see for myself. A new one is that same price!

I am looking for a Garmin GPS III Pilot and any accessories the fit it. I am especially looking for bike mount or other mounts. The unit is the same size and shape as a GPS V so those accessories will fit too.

Is the Garmin V a good first gps or should I buy a newer model? I have used the V before and it seems good to me but I have never used anything else.
