  1. Naomi, love the little card you made, how did you get the ring through the plastic holder without tearing the plastic, i have coins that are going to be released in the next couple of weeks and don't particularly want to drill them. Hope you are doing ok valarie, you are still in our prayers. Ljay
  2. Welcome to the wonderful world of geocoin collecting. It must be pay day, i've spent about the same this weekend. I have a couple of coins that i have earmarked for release but many of the ones i buy i get for my collection. I plan to activate them so that others can discover them at events. Others who buy double like you did buy 1 to keep and the other to trade. Happy Collecting, i have my trading list in my proile if you want to swap for one of those duplicates you have bought. Ljay
  3. It is one of 5dimes personal coins. Can only presume that he has a digit wrong but surely they have realised it is not the coin they found. I will hold my hand up i have copied down codes wrong and not realised til i have got back to a pc, but as much as i love my icons and numbers i wouldn't log something that is clearly going to be deleted by the owner. Or relog something has that has been deleted! I agree with Moop get on to TPTB. Good Luck, Ljay
  4. oh i want to come to this event... however at 5215 km i think it is a bit far... Although if i get a lottery win between now and then i will def turn up. Since that is a pipe dream i will definatly be interested in buying or trading for this one. Thanks Ljay
  5. ohhhh i would love one of the silver ones. looking forward to the sale info coming out Really nice coin. Well Done Edited: I will save the e-mail now and put a note in my diary
  6. I got my missing WEGE Mission in the post this morning. All the way from South Dakota came a life jacket coin, a lovely green geochick, some pathtags, a nice non trackable coin from Ohio with a horse on it. Also some black hill animal cookines (we just don't make cookies like this in Europe), a green Geocaching silicone Armband, Official Geocache stickers which saves me from ordering some, and a very large travel bug camera that we may struggle to find a cache for... Oh and a quarter with Mount Rushmore on the back of it... Thanks to the GPX Navigators... Ljay xox

And that was only beacuse we switched to using OSGB and plotted it on a paper Map!!! Breath Deeply, devistating day. Looking for my 50th this weekend so i am hoping for good karma...

  13. Post photos later but i recieved a nice package from the Highland Geofariy to replace my missing WEGE. It had a Highland Geofairy Coin, a Tsunriseboy FTF Lilly Pad and a WEGE White Elephant. Honoured to recieve a package from the fairy. Thanks Ljay
  14. Something i have to share. Off topic Sorry. Many thanks to those who made offers of Wege's to make up for my lack of Wege. The kindness and generosity of geocachers really does restore your faith in mankind. i don't just mean those who offered to send me a wege, those who buy from other collectors who hav to sell due to debt, money generated through sales that go to charity and the e-place sales that have been made to assist with Tank's health care. in my time caching i have met about 6 other cachers but the things that the 1000's of others around the world will do for each other is heart warming. Thanks guys. Lxox
  15. Hey Trasi, got the coins you sent to scotland today. I am honoured to recieve coin #1. Steel City Babe coin TB1J17G. and i have to say "My God, they're huge" I wonder if you were following my woes when you sent me the White Elephant Coin. Great to get a look at the coin even if i did miss out on the mission. Dad and i will organise something for their first cache experience here in Scotland. I look forward to watching them travel. Thanks a million. Ljay
  16. Valerie, i am so sorry to hear abou your loss. The only thing i can send from across the sea is love and kind words written by a friend that helped me cope with the passing of a close relative some time ago. Let each teardrop be a memory from which we'll never part. For memories are ours to keep forever in our hearts. I'm sure your mother left you with many happy memories. Treasure them. Love Ljay
  17. Poor Me this has been a very unsucessful mission. i've just winged an e-mail off to my Wege as it has not been posted as recieved, and i have yet to recieve mine so i think we can write off this mission. Thank you very much for organising this one and it has been great to see all the interesting things people put in their packages. Happy Caching Ljay
  18. So i have been avoiding the Geocoin Forums for the last couple of weeks as i have just started uni and i am trying to get my head around being a student again and i am also trying to save some money. (totaled it up and i have spent nearly $450 since mid november on this addiction). Then on Thursday i got a message via GS from Dancingfool and my first thought was "have i got a Travel Bug at the bottom of my Backpack" but thankfully no. He was telling me that he has launched TBVCJ1 to come and visit us here in Scotland. i will admit that i had to think about it for a minute before i remember that i did indeed send an email to say we'd take one and i am now looking forward to watching it travel across the pond. Thanks for this great project. I look forward to your coin meeting with the Team Falconer Scotland Geocoin when it gets here. Ljay (trying to avert eyes from all these lovely projects )
  19. Oh my god... These arrived through the week while i was at uni. WOW. i'd forgotten that i had ordered them (which is bad ) i'm not sure that i remember that they were pottery and i definately didn't realise they were so big , but Wow they are beutiful. I have to find them a coin box all of their own as my original one is now full and they wouldn't have fit anyway. Dad was in when they arrived and said he thought the Postman had dropped a brick through the letterbox when he heard them hit the floor. These are def not for relese but i might activate them and take them to events with me for others to discover cos they are just too good not to share. Thank you so much for making such a lovely set of coins i am so glad that i got a set. Ljay (avoiding the forums on a money saving mission)
  20. Ohh didn't see the coin but i did get the pin badge with my last order from Landsharkz...
  21. 2 Mission Recieved - Dec 20th. Now i just wish the postie would turn up with some of my ordered coins. I hate waiting for anything but especially post and presents... 3 Mission Complete : Package ready to go and will be in the post 8th January Hmmm, not worried about my own pacakge that hasn't arrived yet, i'll worry about that on the 1st of February but i am concerned about the pacakged that i posted to the US on the 9th of January and hasn't been recieved by the recipient! I can only hope that a post man somewhere is really nice very soon. Nice to see what everyone is getting. Ljay I am terribly jelous of all these packages people are getting mine has still not arrived and more worrying is my WEGE that i posted to the states on the 9th of January has still not arrived to it's intended recipient I am not too concerened about my package as i see a number of people have posted that they have posted packages in the last week but i am very annoyed with a postman somewhere for not delivering my pressies to their intended recipient. I can only hope that they will be lucky on Monday.
  22. oooohhhh, not worried about my paycheck (cos i'm a student and don't get one ) but i had promised myself i wasn't buying anymore coins until all the other preorders i've placed and my geoscooters (still to be paid) have arrived but there is no way i can't have a set of these. Email sent. I think i will have to cancel my subscription to the Geocoin forums and stop coming here or i really am going to be a poor student. Thanks for making such a irresistable coin set. Ljay

  24. Hi, So i have been thinking about this and here is my first entry. TBIMG6Z David's Standard. It is a silver Hogwild Travel Coin attached to a Scottish Flag Keyring. It is released in memory of my Uncle who passed in 2006 after a 9 year battle with a seires of brain tumours. He was 2 weeks short of his 38th Birthday. I have 2 more coins 2 release but they are rather odd and i'm not sure how to link them in to the cancer theme so bear with me. Thanks a Million, Ljay
