  3. Wow, i've been really light in the forums recently (and on the Geocaching) due to being soo busy at school. So my first thought when i got the post this morning was "God, do i owe someone a mission??". then i opened the package and discovered a lovely coin . i am so honored that even tho i have been absent there is still someone nice out there in the community thinking about me... Thank you Geo_Bandit for sending me this coin. Oh and on the ID side we all dicided this evening that it looks like Michael Jackson! Does he geocache?? Ljay xox
  4. My understanding of coin / bug ettigute (SP ) is that you log them and try to replace them within 14 days. If you are unable to or want to keep it longer cos you are heading towards the coins destination then most owners are happy for you to hang on to them. Also logging that you have removed the coin means the only people who are going to be dissapointed are the ones who arrive an hour after you have been there. Not those visiting 10 days later to move on an interesting bug or coin. just my 2p worth from across the pond. Ljay
  5. No, you didn't miss it. I have been gone on holidays for a number of weeks (close to two months) and have had limited time to get into coins. The third and final edition of the series will hopefully be coming soon. Hope you had a wonderful Holiday then and i will stop worrying and watch. I've managed to get all but one of Niomi's coins without having to resort to the nasty e-place and didn't want to have to start trawling to complete the collection. Keep up the hard work, Thanks a mil, Ljay
  6. Hey Niomi, Have a managed to miss the 3rd in this series?? I'm On castleman's mail list and they are about the only geocoin related e-mail i've been reading for a while but i've not seen any sign?? Don't want to miss out as i have the rest of the series and the ruinstone and hammer coins too. Thanks a mil, Ljay

  8. Got a bargin on my Sony WSat Nav cos it was a display model with out a box. But can't put Geocaches on it cos i don't have the software. Wasn't worried about it as i thought that i'd be able to download it from Sony but it is not available. Does anyone have this model and be willing to part with the software or advise where i can get it on-line. Thanks a million, Ljay
  9. Hi Mrs Yooper, i am happy to report the safe arrival of a Tube last friday. it contained a poster of Celtic football team with Jock Stein and some information on the great man. For anyone who doesn't know, he was a soccer player and manager. He was from my home town and i remember my great grandfather talking about him when he died. Granda had worked with him in the coal mines when he was only playing part time... i also got 3 Night hunter 2008 coins. thanks a million. Laura
  10. I have a friend in San Fransisco and we regualryly trade coins. I send him the ones from Europe that have missions in the states or just want to clock miles and he sends me ones that are Europe bound. I usually check with the owner first but i have never had a refusal!
  11. I've been away for a while but have been following the thread via my e-mail. I know my package was recieved but i am still waiting on mine. Hope to get something soon! Laura
  12. Sorry, i've been off forum for a while I have sent my pacvkage out and i know that Sweetlife recieved it. I have not recieved my package yet tho. Thanks Ljay
  13. i've got terracotta coins don't see why not! I'd buy one to have it in my collection but i know wooden coins are generally used as sig items! Look forward to seeing what you come up with!
  14. if there was ever any doubt that i deserved this coin i eradicated it on Wednesday! I visited Edinburgh for the day and got ZERO finds! I had the co-ords for about 10 Caches. Couple were mysteries and multis. So i started at Edinburgh Castle and made my way down the Royal mile collecting clues for 2 of the multi's. got the co-ords for one of the multis but didn't find the final. i was sure that i had got the co-ords wrong as one of the buildings was partially covered and wasn't sure i'd got the right info! got home and looked at the spoiler! i was there! Just couldn't find it! then went on to try 4 trads! didn't get one find! thankfully there was a DNF by another cacher on one of them! another i went with a pre signed log cos the last log said it was full! had extra hints from the owner cos i'd offered to replace the log and couldn't even get to look for the cache as the resident tramps were occupying the cache site!!! I'm bad but 0/5 is just embarrasing! Got some great pics tho if anyone wants a look! http://picasaweb.google.com/laurafalconer/Edinburgh?authkey=faa_q0_eVEs Can anyone beat my 0/5 in a day?
  15. i had horrid problems with mine but it has been in the post for nearly a week now so hopefully they will get it this week. No sign of my mission yet, shouldn't have had to many problems with Hamilton, previous industial town, close to Glasgow and Lanark (where William Wallace was originally from). On another Mission i was fortunate enough to get souviners from Hamilton, New Zealand! (thanks Buterfly Lady) Keeping an eye out for the postie! Ljay xox

  17. Your not the owner you can't sell. If someone wants to trade you for an activated coin that you can sell that is between the 2 of you! IMO i have no problem trading with some one for an active coin that they own on the condition that i can adopt it! If in dire need and needed to sell off my collection my active coins would be sold here and adopted out and my non active would be e-placed! the mysteries and personals in my collection would be traded back to the giver for something i could sell unless they gave me permission to sell it! Just my 2pence from across the pond! Ljay
  18. i think it was Geocoinshop.de that sold these. Last time i was on the site i am sure they had some left Hope this helps Ljay
