I just got a small, extending inspection mirror from Spacecoast Geocaching for $1.49. I went over and over a palm tree and finally found it with the mirror. Definitely worth carrying along. I also carry hiking poles to smack at the weeds to chase snakes off.

I just made 13, I am looking for more film canisters. I used Avery 5162 labels. I copied the one I found, it said: "Cache In/Trash Out" Contents: 1 trash bag. Please use the bag to carry out trash from the trash area, the refill this container with a new bag and drop it off in another cache. Good luck... Unfortunately, I cannot do this either but I will not buy an iphone to be able to "hook up" to the site. I just mark them FOUND on the unit and then pull up the map when I come home and put them into the site manually. A small inconvenience for saving about $50 a month over my regular, waterproof cell phone.

Just starting geocaching. I got a Magellan BC handheld GPS and am trying to learn the particulars. If anyone has any suggestions, please do not hesitate to let me know. I live in Clearwater but am now in Ohio. I will be back home the beginning of Sept and can't wait to get started along the trails.
