Hi, eTrex (Legend/Venture) waypoint deletion (batch delete - ALL waypoints): Go to "Main Menu" > "Find" > Press the center function of the Joy Stick. Select "Waypoints" and Press the center of the Joy Stick. Select "Nearest" and Hit the center of the Joy Stick. Move the Joy Stick left and Press the center of the stick. Now select "Delete All" and hit the center of the stick. All way points should be gone. A trick I learned is to delete all waypoints, tracks and routes before each trip and load what I need into my computer and then download into the GPS. This is the major benefit of a Premium membership - you can create a batch file of whatever you like (as Pocket Query) for waypoints you might like to explore. Bill

Hi, I am using an employer supplied Blackberry (I protect it in a case and in my backpack on the trail), which is a super paperless unit. It does some other things too - like it is a cell phone and it can also access the 'net if I have forgotten to download somewhere I am. You need MobiPocket Reader to download all the data, but then it is like havng a computer right along with you.
