  1. The problem with losing this screen, for me, is that it also displays my current lat/long and the cache's lat/long, side by side. These values are not dependent on having a compass sensor, but for some reason the app now denies me the ability to see them because my phone lacks unrelated hardware. I especially liked using this screen when hiding a cache. It was a good check against the lat/long my GPSr reported. It's very frustrating this feature has been blocked for no apparent reason.
  2. I think Max and 99 mention in their post that they previously used the coordinates at the bottom of the Navigation screen - your current lat/long and the lat long of the cache. Now these are no longer available to them because they are locked out of the screen, when previously they weren't. Not having a compass sensor isn't the issue. My phone doesn't have a compass, and I also used the coordinates on this screen - especially when hiding a cache, as a check against my GPSr. Now I can't. There is no other place in the app where either of these coordinates sets are shown, as far as I can tell. I would rather have access to this partially working screen than be prevented from using it entirely. This should be fixed.
  3. I see this also using the Edge browser on Windows 10. It happens constantly. It only happens with Google maps (both map and satellite view), never with Leaflet. Whole sections of icons disappear after zooming in or out or after grabbing and dragging the map, then reappear after another zoom in or out or grab and drag. This happens whether zooming with my mouse wheel or with the onscreen + and - buttons. The area affected can be different sizes, but how large or small the area is is difficult to determine since, of course, caches are randomly distributed. Note that this does not happen every time I zoom in or out, or every time I grab and drag the map, but it does happen frequently. It's quite frustrating because I am never sure if I'm really seeing all the caches. I have to keep zooming in and out until I'm confident all are being displayed. I look forward to this being fixed.
  4. Using Leaflet maps is an OK workaround for now, but the Esri WorldImagery is years out of date.
  5. On my Kindle Fire tablet, if I choose to use Google maps on the geocaching.com web page, tapping on a cache icon does not display the popup that allows me to open the cache page. All I see is a tooltip with the cache name, and tapping this does nothing. When I choose to use Leaflet maps instead, the popup does appear as it should and the cache page can be displayed. My tablet is a Fire HD 10 (Seventh Generation), running Fire OS 5.6.1.0, with Silk Browser 67.4.1.3396.87.10.
  6. I'm looking into buying a 60cs, but I'm confused about the mapping software. What's the difference between City Navigator and City Select? The Garmin website seems to recommend both for the 60cs, but I can't figure out from the product descriptions why I'd want one over the other.
