Nevadanick's points are all valid. I do like the idea of having a single thread per coin that stands out. The only thing I wonder is whether the forum will just look like one big ad for multiple coins. However it would be nice to know that those coins exist. But I think some of the other threads that are actually more interesting will get bumped down and forgotten. I suppose there's no perfect answer. When I showed this thread to my 12 yo, he thought it was asking for a paid position for someone to post new coins. He was disappointed when I told him it was purely volunteer work. Ha!

I like the idea. Should this be in one concise thread that is just meant as a plug without tons of comments or multiple threads? Maybe even a sticky thread that stays at the top.

The forums is my home page. I do follow a couple of designers on their Facebook pages, but that is so much more work unfortunately. I get excited when there's an unusual topic posted that generates a lot of comments. Wish it happened more often.

Very interesting that the icon isn't showing up on your profile. The TB page shows that it's in your hands. You mention that you grabbed the coin from a cache, but for some reason the grab doesn't show up on the log. It does show the dip. Not sure how that happened. It's almost as if the log and initial icon was deleted. Maybe someone else has seen this before. I might trying logging a drop into a cache and then log a retrieval. This is the same as a dip essentially, but might get the icon on your page. This is a head scratcher.
