  1. I'm from Canada, but have to say this coin is beautiful!
  2. Spring is different everywhere. Today within half an hour I hit pouring rain, a snow storm, and fog, and black ice on the roads. Yet neighbors to the south have blooming trees and flowers and green. I still have two feet of snow on my lawn, whatever isn't white is brown. Spring geocaching brings newly released caches that you can find without worrying that they are snowed in or icebound. New caches in the spring make geocaching fantastic for me!
  3. Sorry haven't run across that anywhere
  4. I'm concerned with a buyer beware situation when I don't know you or your reputation when it is a lot of $$$$ for me
  5. Navigate to geocache Then in top right corner there is what looks like a map Tap on it. The compass will come up.
  6. It's not an auto setting with my iPhone 4 and the official app. I geocache finding caches: log the cache in the field. I'm in micro hell where I live so I can go for months before finding a place to drop a bug. I have a bag with all bugs in my possession in it with me at all times. Once I get home I go to my log edit it; choose a setting at bottom of page that says visit all. And save the log update. That way mileage for trackables is always correct.
  7. Why doesn't the log for the cache transfer to the trackables log? If that happened auto visits wouldn't be blank! I have two bugs in a race. Every cache they visit racks up points; I've been wishing autovisit was turned on with people picking them up. Also if we could load a picture to the trackable page from a smart phone it would end up with pictures loaded. I will take a pretty picture at the cache load it; but it stays with the cache. There is no way for me to get it to the trackable page. By the time I download pics from my camera or smart phone the trackable was dropped off long ago and I have no way to get pictures on trackable page.
  8. For a child I also added a laminated note that had my sons name; my cell number and grandmas number. I'm glad your daughter was found she had to have been scared. In the fall me, DD 11, and DS 8 (has aspergers) were caching in the city on a paved trail system. He wanted to go home and was mad and didn't believe we were heading back to van. DD was in front, DS had been with me and then ran ahead. Just then there were curves in trail, I lost site of him and Dd for a second. By the time I got around curve DD was there he wasn't. We called and called, he didn't answer, people walking their dog towards us hadn't seen him, people going the other way hadn't seen him. Whistle blowing didn't have him respond. Finally the two sets of dog walkers started in the brush on either side. DS is terrified of dogs and started screaming. He was so mad he hid from us. I was so scared while he was missing, so now in his emergency beach necklace is I'd and phone numbers
  9. Yes you can do a pocket query for level 5's
  10. I wish the lists were like the bookmarks. They show up on any device I log into; but the saved lists don't. Would be great.
  11. Actually hidden journalling is quite popular in scrapping. If anyone is familiar with the Fancy Pants brag books I think using one of them as a "smash book" for scrapping geocaching would work very well.
  12. Link doesn't work for me, could you check it?
  13. I want to know what are some of the coolest geocoins out there? That are available for trade or sale. Please post pics.
  14. Do you have any more Alberta ones? Also car related; or ocean related?
  15. Not sure where you are but water; snacks; and off makes it much more enjoyable.
  16. I sent email last night.
