this is one of the oldest unfound caches in Ontario. people have tried but can't get there. Others wonder if it is there or not.

I have seam small segments of this video. It was nice to see the whole thing. Also it was nice to put some faces to the names I have seen on the site.
Nice to also see fellow canuck cachers in the video, Jtee, Birat, Zartimus, and team Goju.

Look at Zoly's log for his visit to Buzzard lake.
it looks about 17 km and it took him 8 hours to hike. then if you do a search of cache near Buzzard lake there are the trail marker caches that Zoly left along the way.

This is a posting to see if there is any interested and crazy cachers looking to attempt the Kawartha Bushwacker Series and hike to the Buzzard Lake Cache, this winter Probably Jan or feb via shoeshoe.
No date set yet but just seeing who is interested and we can pick a date from there. Could event hold a event at a local timmie's in peterborough or lakffield and carpool to the parking coords from there.

I guess it does not work in Canada.

Happy Simcoe Day!!!
Too bad we couldn't have done the marathon this weekend.

That would make a great sea kayak trip around the lake. I am sure there is crown land camping on some of those islands. But a PWC would be quick to zip around the lake.
and is the lake freezes solid it would make it perfect for snowmobile in the winter.

Yah! I am in a vehicle now. I will be carpooling with Northernpenguin and Fizbot from the westend. I have a seat confirmed in the Nox for the event along with the oficial event photographers Northernpenguin and Fizbot.

I found this site from another post in the GC forums. But it is for Garmin.
BTW I am also headed to Japan in July.

I am think of getting a Plam treo or palm t/x. I like the treo cause of the keyboard but I also like the t/x with it's large screen. my current palm uses the on screen keyboard. which is fine for me. The treo is nice.
I have been looking at some on ebay, saw alot of 650's and 680's there are a few 700's.
I am with Rogers wireless GSM. I am wondering if all unlocked gsm treo's will work with my current rogers sim card?

This snow caching is all well and good until they plow the snow up around the light poles.
Yah but it turns the lamp post micros from a 1/1 to a 5/5!!!!
Where are the most remote caches?

the owner only has one find. the general concencus is that the cache was never put out. One cacher had a thought to make a group trip Via Helicopter to go anad get it. We figure we we get enough people to share the cost of chartering the helicopter it could work.
