A few bugs and coins I brought here to Iowa from California and released ended up at an event, lots of people discovered them at this event but never grabbed them. These are all seasoned cachers and the event is now archived. They were dropped at the event. Do people just end up collecting coins and bugs at events and not move them on? Seems weird that seasoned cachers would not understand the purpose of bugs and coins...There are well over 10 bugs or coins still sitting at this event (which doesn't have a cache). What gives?

It's moving and racking up miles, that's the purpose, who cares if only one person is holding it... Better than it sitting in one cache for months or disappearing completely. I don't understand why you are so riled up...
