I use GeoBeagle. And that is all, not sure i needed anything else. Its a free app and does everything i need of it (:

I use a HTC Desire Z, It seems very accurate as i found my first Cache today within 1-2 Meters of accuracy. Batterys On HTC are not the best though, so you might want to buy a handheld if you can. (i probably would if i had the cash right now)
