  5. Ok, off the bat I will tell you I am not good with numbers and figuring these things out. So now I need help finding the X factor. It was a multi cache, 4 points which I found and now to find out where X marks the spot. Where all 4 points intersect. Cache site 1 coords are N26 16 177 W081 41 483 Cache site 2 coords are N26 16 330 w081 41 505 Cache site 3 coords are N26 16 096 W081 41 627 Cache site 4 coords are N26 16 159 W 081 41 692 The final cache [ ammo box] is where the the coords intersect. Can anyone help me? THx Fishercz20
  6. I also have the Garmin etrex vista C. Bought it new about 2 years ago and just a couple weeks ago, it did the same thing with the line in the middle and shuting down. I thought maybe it was the batteries, so I just replaced them. Could someone send me the info on how to clean the connectors or do what I need to do to keep it operational. Thx fishercz20

  12. I throw in tokens, knick knaks and because I live in florida Ive found many sharks teeth off the beach shore line, so I put one each into a paper coin holder and throw that into the cache box as well.
  13. I have been metal detecting for over 30 years now. Have found $$$$ in coins, silver and gold while land and water detecting. But like geocaching, the peace , exercise and satisfacation I receive is priceless. In both hobbies Ive met the nicest people. The outcome of both hobbies is the same. To find and revel in the satisfacation of doing so. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
