Does anyone have any ideas to customize your field notes? I'm looking at something live using Microsoft Word and Access so that I can count the number find per log. Using Mail Merge I can only seem to generate 1 record per page. Just curious if anyone has tried this! Thanks! @jbuyense

On my Explorist GC I went into my Setting.xml file and changed <Setting name="GEOCACHES_FOUND" type="int">589</Setting> to match my lifetime found. The problem is when I make another find, the count doesn't update. Just seeing if anyone has ran into this problem or figured how to fix it? @jbuyense

Rick345, To add the maps you have subscribe to either Digiglobe or National Geographic through the Magellan website, then download it through Vantage Point. Then you save the map to the /Maps folder in your GPS. You can also download maps from other source too, I just haven't found any. - John

What program do you use? GSAK?

I recently successfully updated my Explorist GC to v2.15. To mark my finds, I took the .gpx from My Finds PQ and just renamed it as Magellan_Geocache_Extention.gpx. I don't think this is the correct way to do it though. The actually file wont import to GSAK. Does anyone know the correct way to transfer the data? Thanks! @jbuyense

Well I just recently updated my Explorist GC form v1.7 to v2.15. I realized my map did not install so I cleared some files to do a fresh install. When I deleted some file, the updater said no Explorist found. No I have only a simple menu with NO working features on it. Is there a way to "Flash" it or some other reload on it? **** PLEASE HELP **** - John@jbuyense

Has anyone out there figured out how to tell who is watching your Travel Bugs? I just see a few of them that are being watched, and I can't help to wonder who is watching it!

I'd make sure you're using zeros instead of O's! That's usually the problem I run into!

I have a few Travel Bugs I'd like to send back out. I was wondering if anyone knew where to purchase replacement copy tags, or just a duplicate travel bug dog tag? Thanks!

I don't want to hack my awards. If I wanted to, I found out how to already. I just wanted to know what is required for the following: Trifecta – original cache Trifecta – ape cache Trifecta – headquarters cache antique compass futuristic compass nature background sleuth/spy background antique map background treasure map background dinosaurs waypoint icons insects/bugs waypoint icons nature/tree/flower waypoint... I can not seem to find that anywhere! Thanks @jbuyense

Ok I've seen posts about how to hack your awards.ini file on the Magellan Explorist GC to unlock awards and merits. I can't seem to find the correct way to unlock these items! If you know or have a link to it, please let me know! @jbuyense
