Hi, new to this, 10 finds, about to start hiding! One question, most cachers put in a geocaching.com sheet for someone that stumbles across a cache.....please don't vandalise, log your visit etc.... Would it not be useful to have the Waypoint code on the cache so random finders would be able to go to the site log, leave a note.... But am I right in saying that a waypoint name is only issued after a cache is hidden, then submitted, then realised on the site?

You can definitely get ammo boxes (from small to massive!) in Ireland - in camping and army surplus stores. Pretty sure you can get them in the UK too....

when entering manually make sure you are set to the same co-ord format on the GPS unit as you are entering from the cache info.
