  1. Born in Pottstown & lived there for 24 years. Don't get over that way too often anymore.
  2. Looks like the rebel alliance is trying to shoot down some tie fighters.
  3. Garmin.com has a map viewer that you can use to see CityNav etc map detail of the areas you are interested in.
  4. Have that happen at home, tools etc get feet & walk away and I'm the only one there at the time!
  5. I change the icons using EasyGPS & then load to my 60Cx.
  6. Go to the Garmin site and compare the viewer for Metroguide & CN for the specific area you want. I think my old Metroguide 5 was closer to CS than CN - imho.
  7. Here is an excellent site for the 60 series Garmins. Enjoy
  8. $306 after rebate is definitely a great buy. That's less than I paid for my 60Cx.
  9. Not sure if you get a 128 or 256 with a 60CSx, my 60Cx came with 64mb card 1gig max for now, it's a micro sd card, do not buy an ultra II. 1 gig will hold almost half of the CN7 or 8 USA maps.
  10. The 60Cx & 60Csx are powered from the usb, unless the hub has it own power it may not handle the current with the 60Cx series. (my hub draws power from my pc).
  11. [/i]The same deal applies for City Select. If you find an unopened version just purchase it and install the maps and you will qualify for a free upgrade to City Navigator North America v8 when the update DVD comes out. We are discontinuing City Select which is why you get the free upgrade to City Nav If Garmin were to charge $120 then that wouldn't be an upgrade. Whether it's free or not depends on the date you unlocked your software.
  12. Are you connecting through a usb hub or directly to a usb input?
  13. I have a folder on my pc called custom poi, I add points in Mapsource & then save each map as a gpx file. So far I use 5 files, "added map poi, benchmarks, home poi, other poi & Waymarking poi". I use Easygps ( lets me select an icon for each custom poi ) to load the files into my 60Cx ( using Mapsource to load gave me blue dots for icons ). To locate a custom poi, select find, then custom poi, there now is a list of the poi. Pushing menu lets me select my custom poi by database (same as my file names) or nearest. I add or delete custom poi by loading the particular file into Mapsource, make changes, save & send the file to my gps via Easygps.
  14. Care to give the specifics, what version do you have & when was it unlocked etc.
  15. When I checked earlier today, they still showed CN7 on the mapviewer. I was curious if the segment sizes were smaller.
  16. Nothing like a few hundred field testers to sort out the bugs.
  17. I have a file with just my home in it, I use it to delete all the other custom poi's.
  18. Just how much more accurate these units will be now remains to be seen.
  19. Hummm, my 60Cx seems ok. I can enter any letter & it goes to the 1st city for that letter.
  20. For 60Cx, custom poi's will not show up in the all poi's section, only under the custom poi section.
