  1. The Palm Menu icon is below that, to the left of the abc writing area.
  2. Should be able to do it this way also. With Cachemate running, tap the lower left "menu" icon on the PDA screen. Tap "option" upper right corner, select register on the option menu. I use a Palm VIIx w/ 3.5 os.
  3. You probably did this already. Start Cachemate, tap upper left "cachemate", tap options, tap register and enter your registration code.
  4. Seems like sitting at a computer and traveling the world by looking at online pictures. Whatever makes them happy.
  5. Probably has something to do with the fact that the gpsr's need rf oscillator/demodulator circuits to receive the satellites signals.
  6. On the Legend, you can turn off the text for waypoints, poi's and street labels. On the map setup page, you can change the text settings to small, med, large or none. Default setting is med. However, the waypoint icons will still show on the map.
  7. On the legend, highlight the waypoint that is shown on the map screen. Push on the page button (upper right on etrex legend), the waypoint info page will come up. Left click the click stick twice to select page edit. (small icon, upper right of the screen will light up) push the click stick, then select "project waypoint", enter distance & brg. The easier way is to look at page26 in the manual. That little click stick is your friend!
  8. According to my Etrex manual, Garmin will not honor warranty work on E*** purchases and you need a sales slip also.
  9. Google Earth will zoom down to 25', of course the picture quality determines what is viewable.
  10. Google earth seems about the same, at least for my home area. Google also shows long/lat co-ordinates.
  11. My Garmin Legend has geocache & geocache found icons from the factory.
