I'd be on the phone with Garmin, this doesn't sound right. That shouldn't be volatile memory. Losing power shouldn't wipe out the card.

Have not seen any 1gig micro cards yet.

For the price of less than two mem cards w/ maps, someone can buy CN 7 & have the USA & Southern Canada.

Duckit I"ve missed a lot of things in my life! Although I spent a year in Key West, the keys I did not mark in Mapsource.

I saw 33 also this afternoon. Interesting, the 60c & 60cx show different "D" indications.

That is still the same.

The local Staples does not carry the micro sd cards yet.

Heh, mine are the opposite. The 60c locks faster & keeps the signal better than my Legend.

I installed City Select, connected my 60c to my pc & used the Mapsource unlock wizard (entered the code from the mapsource cd). Took about 20 seconds to get it done.

Where are the 1gig micro sd cards sold? I see 512m only.

I cut one down that was for my pda, I'd say it's semiglossy. Definately cut down on glare, probably depends on the maufacturer.

Will the sd card I have for my Palm 505 fit in the 60cx? The Garmin picture looks a little different than my card.

Turn on the backlite & mine last a few hours. Charged up, not used, 3 days later battery is at 75pc. I think I need a new battery.

They only show ver 7 now.

Why not call Garmin & talk to their tech people. I've called them, a couple minutes waiting & got an answer about the base marine POI's on my 60c

I ordered City Select 6, received ver 7 dvd. I bought a dvd burner to replace my older (sloooow) cdrom drive. I already have a cdrw drive.
