  1. Hi, I am considering buying the Garmin i3 Streetpilot as a economical entry in to sat nav. It gets good reviews but my main question is does it do a latitude/longitude search as well as a postcode search? I mainly want it to help guide me to caching locations but still use handheld gps to locate caches. Any info would be appreciated Thanks

  3. Which North should i use for general GPS use? Rightly or wrongly i am using it on magnetic setting, is this correct? Thanks for any help with this. Nick
  4. I am using a Garmin E Trex for geo caching. I have enabled the WAAS/EGNOS mode, well EGNOS as i am using GPS in the UK. The accuracy has improved considerably, down to 2m at times. My question is that when i get a signal down to 2-3m it says DIFF:2m, what does the DIFF mean or stand for? Also is there any way i can improve signal strength when under tree cover? A lot of Geo cachers tend to hide caches in woodland and i find it frustrating when you struggle for a signal. I've noticed that on the Garmin website there is a download available for the E Trex it mentions that this can improve signal reception? Does anyone know if this is worth downloading?? I would be gratful for anybodys help with these questions Thanks for your help
