WELL? any decisions made yet?

2005 to a week ago, Magellan Meridian color, a week ago to present, Magellan eXplorist 710.

I'll toss in my 2 cents. I've been using a Magellan Meridian Color since 2005, I also used my Motorola Droid phone also. Well, my interest in geocaching got peaked again and I got to looking at GPS units, after much looking and reading I chose the explorist 710. On the Magellan website they go for $500, i looked on ebay and ended up buying one for $225. Have had it for a week and I cant recommend it enough. It takes some learning but i like tinkering with my toys, its how you learn. People bitch about the camera, i think it does just fine but i also carry a nikon for pictures, people say the video is sketchy, again, the nikon can do that too, havent used the voice memo yet. I love this unit, and NOTHING out there is going to do EVERYTHING we want it to. My phone is my PHONE and back up camera..My camera is my camera and video cam and My 710 is AWESOME! i like more everytime i find something new. If you get this, i would be more than happy to help you learn it. There ya go for what is worth. Enjoy whatever you get and have fun, Darin.P.S., let us all know what you end up with!

I will look for anything, I even plan on going back to the ones I could not recover and looking "harder", I don't always have alot of time to hunt....and if they are listed as destroyed and it has been fairly recent I would still look to see if it is laying there because you could retrieve it for a memento.....check out the video on "how not to recover a benchmark"..awesome & funny

If you have a Meri-color, WHY on earth would you get rid of it?! We have one and love it. Don't know much about the Garmins but geez.....I would give it another chance......

Just wanted to post a thank you to all the people that have purchased some of my wares. If you went there because you saw it here, THANK YOU! And there are some new designs I added if you'd like to check it out again.......and still working on getting the price down by selling them myself.

As far as money orders go I'm not sure. You wouldn't actually be calling me but Cafepress. I am however looking into having the shirts produced here locally and having them available cheaper. Will keep you posted here..thanks
