  1. We have also had this issue for sometime. Discovered it when cachers had logged a virtual and ECs with no answers. After requesting the answers they replied with the answers via e-mail but stated they had sent them initially through the message center. After checking the message center the answers were there. Have never liked the message center as it just creates more hassle for EC and virtual cache owners.
  2. I am not really sure why cachers should have any issues with posting a photo on a virtual or why it was an issue on the earthcaches. Yes it takes a bit of time to post it but it also takes time to do puzzles and multis. The choice to do these is made by the cacher and if they don’t feel they can comply then they should not do the cache. Cachers can choose 1-1s or 5-5s. No one forces them to do a particular hide. We travel some and really enjoy doing earthcaches and learning a little but do look at them before downloading to see if they will be interesting or something we may not be able to complete. We always carry a camera to virtuals and earthcaches. Most are good locations or something we want to add to our photo collection.
  3. We would like to congratulate the SPLASHES on their 11,000 find. We remember several years ago at Lake Powell when splashman had just gotten a new GPSr but hadn't used it yet. Having had one for a while we showed him a little about using it. Wasn't long after that we recieved an E from splashette about this new game using the computer and a GPSr. The rest is history. Again CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for introducing us to this sport and your hospitality. lakeman&tagalong Billings Montana
  4. What we have done on our multi and puzzle caches is add a link where the final coordinates are listed on geochecker.com. This doesn't help in the field but on puzzle caches that you work before heading out this link can be accessed and coordinates entered. If they are correct it lets you know. If the cacher has done a multi in the field and doesn't find the last stage they can check them at home before E-mailing the owner. As for hints we will provide a nudge if it is a puzzle and someone can't figure out how to get started. Final coordinates-Never.
  5. Here is one we see quite frequently. E-mail me if you need a hint. Yeah right, I'm a half mile out here in nowhere land!
