  1. uh, I think exploding silver caches violates the guidelines.... You are right. It would have been better phrased thusly; The number of silver caches being placed nationwide is set to explode! I hope some are placed near you so you can get a shot at them.
  2. I certainly don't mean this to sound negative, but honestly I didn't get into geocaching to find silver, gold, platinum or even moon rocks. I got into geocaching to find geocaches...to get my butt off the couch and out into the woods. I've been around here long enough that I think the majority of geocachers probably fall into the same camp as I do. To imply that silver or gold or "real treasure" motivates us misses the point of why we do this and (quite frankly) is just a tad insulting. If I want wealth I'll find my own wealth. All I want is to go outside and play. Bret I understand completely the sentiment of geocaching. My own list of found caches is growing steadily. It is a great concept and I love the hikes through the woods and the challenge of the hunt. Best of all is the excitement on the faces of the kids when we get a chache with toys in it. That's worth more than silver or gold to them. My last intention is to pervert a great new sport, and if that is what this turns into, I will cease, but I don't think that is what will happen. I am introducing a new element of interest. That and nothing more. After speaking at length this morning with an RCO North of Detroit, we have arrived at a solution to some of the problems plaguing my placement of silver in or near the caches. Stay tuned. Silver caches are poised to explode nation wide, and there WILL be a one ounce gold cache coming soon! Southwest Michigan just happens to be the proving ground for perfecting the idea.
  3. Well, I had to think about aobut adding another post to this thread for a while. If folks like tossedsalad and dkwolf want to show their ignorance by claiming that Silver Liberys are not real silver, then who am I to expose them? But then, there are the uninformed out there who might believe them. Any banker who knows about the Silver Liberty will readily admit that it is real silver. They just don't want the people to use it for money because they cannot deflate its value. After all, the people of this nation used it for money for almost 200 years and had virtually no inflation until the bankers succeeded in getting it removed from our money. And Jester2112 says why would I sell my silver for paper money. Well first of all, I'm not. I'm changing my paper money into silver. That's why I have silver and you don't. Why would I want to keep money that becomes worth less every day? I don't. I change my paper into silver regularly as I accumulate the fraudulent stuff. Second of all, I am giving it away in caches! I don't want your paper money. There is no scam. It is simply an effort to get people who don't even think about it to question what money is and how and why it works. You will be amazed at the fraud you discover that is being worked upon the people of our nation. The national debt would not be exploding if they had stuck with constitutional gold and silver backed money instead of letting the FED print it out of thin air beginning in 1964 when they robbed the people of the nation by replacing thier silver coins with nickel/copper slugs. It seems to me that ju66l3r is the smartest among you. He uses rational thought instead of emotional criticism. Yes, the ignorant think it is a scam when they realize that the cost of a silver liberty is more than the spot price of silver. Well guess what. The cost of a can of corn is more than the market price of corn by the semi load, too! And so is every other commodity on the face of the earth. You can only get silver bullion at market price in 500 ounce bars. Try it and see. I will buy every silver liberty any of you can find at spot plus 25 cents. Any takers? No, the silver liberty is NOT a scam. It is an alternative currency that is being used as such at thousands of stores nation wide. It functions EXACTLY as historic US silver coins did. Do you think there was 50 cents worth of silver in a pre-1964 half dollar? There never was. Even the US government could not mint coins at a loss. The moment the value of the silver 50 cent piece went above 50 cents, everyone stopped spending them at the grocery store because they were worth more than 50 cents. The same thing will happen to the $10 silver liberty piece when the value of the paper government money falls to the point that it takes more than a $10 bill to purchase the one ounce of silver. Scam? I think not. Misunderstood? Definitely. No, I am not out to make money. I'm trying to get you to stay away from that @#$% blue pill. Wake up! But the best motive here is that I am promoting geocaching. What do you think will happen to this sport when people find out that there really are people out here who are giving away silver in geocaches? Personally, I think it is going to explode as people rush to buy GPS units so they can go find it!! And I'm not the only one who is going to be putting silver in caches. RCOs from around the country are going to be doing it as well. The goal is to get as much silver as possible into the hands of the people of our nation before the impending monetary collapse happens. It will help to dampen the ensuing chaos if the people have sometihng of value to use for trade when the paper becomes worthless. History shows that it has done so in nation after nation over the years, and we cannot escape it. It is just a matter of time. Cheers. Ron
  4. I added four caches to my found list today in Southwest Michigan. I left one ounce, .999 fine Silver Liberty pieces at three of them. Check my logs to find out where you can find these caches. If you are lucky enough to find the silver, you can trade out for it like any other item. Enjoy!
  5. They have found my silver cache #2 and are furiously looking for silver cache #3. Check out the postings! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...45-9480eeb2b932 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...f6-bc77c422d34e
  6. Interesting. I don't blame anyone for being skeptical. It is very much out of the ordinary for anyone to do a thing like give away silver. Yes, admin at gc.com has been contacted, even before I ever posted anything. So far, they are silent. That means they are seriously considering it and probably checking out to see if I am who I say I am. Now, what are all you skeptics gonna do when they say sure! Leave all the silver you want, and then geochachers start finding and reporting it. There's gonna be a geo-rush! That's what. Geocaching membership with skyrocket and so will sales of GPS units. They are not dummies. They know this. I fully expect them to approve it. And I did leave coordinates to the silver. Just take a look at my found caches. You will see that the moderators edited and removed the coordinates, so I went back to one and posted that the silver was there in a more geocaching-legal manner. I am going to e-mail some of the local cachers and tell them its there so they can go and find it. What are you guys gonna do when they start posting that its real? Ha ha! Not only that, many in the Liberty Dollar organization love this idea, so you can expect the silver to start showing up in caches in other locations around the country. It will take most folks a while to look into it to try and understand why it is so important. How many of you can explain why that one ounce of silver I am hiding will still buy the same amount of gas that it did back in 1964 when they took the silver out of our US coinage (it was a silver dollar back then)? It doesn't take a whole lot of brains or thinking about it to see that the silver dollar will still purchase the same value it did back then, but the paper dollar will not. How long do the people have to get robbed by bank money before they wake up?
  7. I read all the guidelines and all I found is that one must use common sense about what to leave in a cache when exchanging, like don't leave food items so animals won't dig it out. If leaving an item at a micro cache that won't fit in the film box, is it ok to hide it nearby and leave a note about it in the cache container? Next question; is there any rule against leaving silver in a cache? Question 3; is there any rule against leaving silver near the cache and leaving a note about it in the cache? Question 4; if it is ok to leave silver, is it ok to post in your log of the find that you left it? It seems to me that the very essence of the definition of the word 'cache' is treasure, so if it's not OK to leave treasure in one, what the @#$% is this site all about?
  8. Good point about folks rooting around without proper equipment. I will come right out and say don't bother without a metal detector. You won't find it. It can be lifted out with a finger and won't make a mess in this particular area (it's always covered with leaves) once you pinpoint the target. Believe me, I am a pro with a detector and can lift a coin from 8 inches deep on a manicured lawn and never leave a trace. I know all about what happens if you disregard such aesthetics. Many a good site has been banned because of amateurs making a mess. I may have a problem placing that gold piece. There isn't any rock cliff faces around here. I was planning to put it about a foot deep so that only the best detectors could find it until I saw the guideline against burying targets. I'm going to have to re-think that one now. The whole point I am making is to awaken people to the existence of real money again. Why use stuff that is printed out of thin air and is destroying our country with and un-payable deficit when we can change all that by using the money our forefathers mandated in the constitution? Do you realize that the same amount of silver that bought a gallon of gas in 1964 (a silver quarter at that time) will still buy a gallon of gas today? It's just that you would no longer stamp that 1/4 ounce of silver as 25 cents. The paper they give us to use for money is ripping us off! The value it loses goes into the bankers' pockets and out of ours! Find out about the Liberty Dollars I am caching (finders keepers) at .
  9. You bet your bippie it's real. I am not going to retrieve the one ounce silver liberty that was placed at N41 deg 54.064 W085 deg 51.105. It is a difficulty 3.5 but will not be listed as a cache because of the guideline violations. I placed two more today that are far enough from other caches, but I didn't know I had to have a log book and ensure it was there for over 3 months as a minimum. This will be rectified shortly. Coordinates for the two I placed today are; N42 deg 00.707 W085 deg 57.849 and N42 deg 00.477 W085 deg 57.872 The first is a $5, 1/2 ounce silver liberty and a $1 silver liberty in the same case (case is about the size of a silver dollar). It is not visible to the eye and is not buried in the ground. There are few places near this coordinate it could be, so it should only be a difficulty of 3 to find. The second is a difficulty 4 and will take special equipment to find. Accessibility is a one. People skilled in finding single silver coins in the ground will know what to do, but a shovel or trowel is not necessary. And the one ounce gold is coming! Stay tuned!
  10. Well, I joined the geocaching community today by making my first two finds and placing my first hide. It is possibly a new type of cache because it will not be maintained. It is expected to be taken by the first finder. All that is asked is that it be reported found. Check my profile bio and the description of my second find today and you will get the idea real quick! The aim here is to make geocaching much more exciting and to educate the people to what real money is and to the fraud of inflation. Expect more silver caches to be placed tomorrow and a one ounce gold cache to be placed within a couple of weeks!
