Almost does not count and black widows are not as dangerous are most people think they are.
I know, it might make you hand swell and give you a slight fever but rarely life threatning, it just scared the hell at me at first and it just kept going back to the altoids can, it wouldn't leave it along at first.
Just in case you wanted to hear the opinion of someone who has been bitten by a black widow: It doesn't really make your hand swell, but the venom will deplete the calcium in your blood and muscles, and will make you feel like you are having the worst all over muscle cramps in the world. nothing but morphine will stop them. If they give you calcium drips for several hours your heart won't stop and you can leave the hosptial in a day or so.
