A cache is a cache... I have no problem with micros in the woods, just check out Stumblealongs "Micro in the Woods" series! They can be hard to find sometimes, but so are ammo cans. The poster above is very good at hiding micros in some really cool places, Thanks Indotguy!

Pretty cool subject. Mapsource in my area has lots of litttle errors. Some State rds have been moved, and some roads nolonger exist. this has lead to a few fustrating trips in the middle of nowhere with a bridge that has been gone for years, but garmin says I can cross here! I'm going to wait for a very long time before I buy any new maps!

Not sure with an explorist. My etrex legend just plugs right in to my laptop, and I just turn on the tracking, and away I go! I habve also seen a USB antanna(sp?) that Garmin has for computers, you don't need the gpsr, just mapquest on the computer. I know this is no help to you, but I hope you can figure it out! I just need someone to drive my truck while I try to operate all of this stuff!

I'm still pretty new to caching, (1 yr) and my 1st gpsr is a Garmin Etrex Legend C. It works pretty good, but I already want a new one that gets a better signal and holds more waypoints. Until my Legend dies, I will use it for all my caching! It is a great "starter unit" I think. Good Luck!

Is this the same with the Etrex Legend C? I have less thatn 250 geos in it and I can't see them all.

Not a good idea if it gets really cold. With less insulation and a STEEL plate, you will get frostbite a whole lot faster on the toes than non-steel toed boots. They're your feet, do what you want, but I like having all of my toes, and pink(not black)!

I spend toooooo many hours playing The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.

It wil be all I can do not to find those caches before mix6. I thought about hiding a few out that way also. Might just do that in the next few weeks. I want to hide more at the Birdseye Trails also. I guess I better get some containers and trade items!!!!!!

What a soggy bunch! Will start to beg for that weekend off so we can try it again. I see Indotguy has tested and approved the caches that were placed, it will be a test of willpower not to find these before Mix6. can't wait!

I don't see how you can get to it without crossing any roads. I have built alot of hyways and I don't belive you can get to it without crossing a road. Maybe you can though, I've never been there so who knows. []

Some good list here. Has anyone checked-out 2qerkE's DVD, some of the listed songs are on it, and Its a good Indiana Geocaching slide show, it makes me want to take more pictures while I'm caching.

you're paranoid. They can make more if we need them. Just look around at a gun show.
