  1. I agree, a tool to sift through the type of caches IF YOU WANT TO, would seem to solve the problem. Sometimes I'm in a hurry and a few "park and grabs" are a nice diversion. However, if I am with my treasure seeking husband, I had better not drag him to a 35mm if it's not in an historical spot or a unique hide. Such is married life. So, how do we create a tool to better sort caches?
  2. Sorry, yes, I would like to have turn-by-turn navigation. I want to get off the ship, turn on the GPS, see the map of where I am and go to the cache just like I do here in Orlando. When we are out of town, we also use the GPS to mark our hotel and our route back. I want to be able to do everything I do here in Florida, just in the Virgin Islands. Is that possible? Thanks! Do you mean "What program can I use to perform turn-by-turn navigation?" as is done when using the Direct Route product? If all you need is mapping reference, you might try GoogleEarth.
  3. We use the MapSend DirectRoute on our GPS. However, we will be going on a cruise in December and want to do some geocaching in the Virgin Islands and the Netherland Antilles. It appears that MapSend only has the 50 states and does NOT list any islands. What program can I use to help geocache in the islands? Thanks! The Smiley Face Bandits
  4. I created a pocket query that resulted in 8 geocaches. I submitted it and the zip file was e-mailed to me. I saved the zip file and then opened it through GSAK. When it opened, only 2 waypoints came in. I talked to the folks at the GSAK forum and they suggested I open the file in Notepad to see if there are truly 8 caches in the file. There are not. There are only two. However, when I click on the link that came with the e-mail, it brings up the list of 8. Where are the other six!?!?!? Thank you!
