  1. If it's not to late I'd like buy 7 when they come out. Is there a place to put in an order that I missed or are you just keeping a list?
  2. I'd like to order a few myself. Are you taking orders yet? and if so how can we order some? Thanks.
  3. Dang it I missed out as well. If anyone has one to trade I'd be willing to do an even swap for one of these. OR WA GOWT If all else fails I'd be willing to pay for one for a fair price plus postage.
  4. I was wondering if I could adopt D.C CACHE GC156B I've tried contacting the owner about it but the email bounced back. I'm in the area every few weeks visiting family so maintaing it would be easy.
  5. Count me in for 5 as well.
  6. Geocachers of West Tennessee http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...opic=78483&st=0
  7. I have an extra GOWT coin I'll trade for your Idaho coin. Send me an email and we can work out the trade. Robert
  8. I have a GOWT coin I'd be willing to trade for a California coin (or just about any other state as well)
  9. Only two? hmmm...I could easly list many more but I'll have to say "Elephant Rock" GCG7ZY and "The Cathedral" GCGN1T are 2 that stand out in my mind. And I was lucky enough to end the year with a great bunch of people at "The Year of the Cache" GCKZV7
  10. I have coins I received #'s 195-199 Thanks primofam for all your hard work.
  11. This note was left for my Band aid ridge cache almost 2 years ago and it's still one of my favorites. March 1, 2003 by oregone This cache was awesome--it had everything i could have asked for. First off, I thought for sure it would off of Trask River road, so slinger and i ended up wading through various roads and an actual gaggle of ducks crossing the street before we found the correct road. Both of us had stupidly left our cameras at home for some reason. Too bad because getting a gaggle of ducks on a road in the same frame as a 'duck crossing' sign is pure gold, baby. Secondly, i drive a honda CRX. Not exactly the best car to ascend 1900 feet in 3 miles on a scrabbly logging road, but we made it. On the third washout, the muffler fell off. I was literally dragging it behind the car for a few hundred yards before we decided it needed some attention. For all the Ford Expulsions and Toyota Aromas out there, i'll bet that 99% of them haven't seen the off-road abuse my CRX has witnessed. Just for good measure, the muffler fell off a second time on the way back down (i've since taped it down, so no worries). This one took a while because the road to the cache was totally washed out, by honda standards. That, and slinger was getting tired of running in front of the car and kicking any rocks over three inches high off the road. So we had to hit this one from above instead of the normal below. We parked about .27 away, but we lost the trail and had to do some serious bushwhacking down the hill. I still have a salmonberry bush attached to my pants. There is an actual trail, we found out on the way back up, but the way down was all devil's clubs and stickery sprucy brambly ouchy excitement each time the 'to go' part of my etrex went down a decimal place. As an unrelated side note, i'd like to take a break for a second and say that i had my first menage a trois just down the road from this cache. In a tent. In the middle of the afternoon. In the siuslaw national forest. Sober. I have no idea where megan and april are these days, but i truly miss them. And i'm sorry the whole sex thing totally ruined your friendship forever. But that's what you get for messing with my head when i'm so young. Slinger and i spotted the cache right away, but we opted to forget about it for a minute and check out the view. It was about 45 minutes before sunset so everything looked all disney and golden. From way up there, even the stagnant cow ponds reflected the setting sun beautifully. The whole Wilson/Trask/Kilchis/Miami/Nehalem River valley looked like a spangly bracelet on a teenage candy-raver girl's wildly gyrating wrist, each farmhouse roof glistening like a poorly placed taiwanese rhinestone. And it feels good to stand up there and look down at everything as if the world was your metaphor, as if you could just stay up there all day and stare at the sun
  12. I know where one of them is but I aint telling
  13. I sent $19 for my 5, so that comes out to just a bit under $1 for each coin. If I remember correctly they charged 75 cents per coin for the Washington coins, I just added a bit extra to help cover for someone who may not be able to give as much.
  14. The coins look great. I just sent a payment through paypal for 5 and I added extra to cover shipping.
  15. go to http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/nation.../mainsited.html (skip the intro if your on dial up.) click on "go treasure hunting" then click on "treasure hunt activities" Does the site advertised look familiar?
  16. On the back cover of December's Readers Digest the artwork for this month show's Santa installing an Onstar GPS system in his sleigh. Now we just need to get him his own handheld unit and turn him into a cacher.
  17. I came home and found my coins waiting on the porch. they look much better in real life then they did in the picture. Thanks for all your hard work
  18. Here's one that needs re-enabled. For some reason the owners disabled the cache but people keep finding it. They haven't logged in since July so I don't know if they are still around. I'm never in the area so I don't want to adopt it but maybe someone in that area could. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...c7-83ed6c420479
  19. As of today I have 49,103 bill's entered. of those 12,783 have been hit. (16,856 hits if you count bill's hit more then once) Your success rate depends a great deal on how you mark them. Unmarked bill's have a success rate around .005% Handwritten bill's average 5% - 30% depending on how boldly you mark your bill's. (penmanship counts) I use 2 stamps, one on the right just above the series year and another round stamp around the seal on the left, my success rate is currently around 26% If you need a stamp, Stamp connection is a great place to buy them from. http://www.stamp-connection.com/dept/where...rge_stamps.html Stop in at the western forum at WG and say hi, we have a great bunch of people who hang out there and we'll do all we can to get your success rate up.
  20. If no one objects I'd like to adopt the Calapooia Cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...21-cb0a28ec690b I've sent an email to the owner a while back and have gotten no response. I stopped in a while back to check on this one and I know it's gone, since no one will archive it I'd like a chance to take it over and replace it with a new cache. At the very least it needs archived.

  22. Two rules for life: (1) Don't tell people everything you know. Never let your willpower get the best of you. Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with. Always borrow money from pessimists--they never expect it back. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving isn't for you!
  23. Another nice thing about winter caching, no poison oak/ivy!
  24. Love the design. Just put in my order for 5
  25. Devils Tower has been replaced and re-enabled after being used as a chew toy by a bear http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...e5-a884e9c2f714
