  1. You said "Apply this fix". There were three zip files listed when I followed the link. All three gave me the following error message............ [#10173] We could not find the attachment you were attempting to view.
  2. I just found my first Wherigo cache yesterday. It seemed like a fun concept, so I wanted to look into creating a cartridge. I downloaded the builder and viewed the first two tutorials. Things didn't go well. First problem: When I try to create a new zone and "Create From Address", there is an error looking up the address. I tried a couple of different addresses but that didn't help. I ended up entering coordinates. Second problem: When I try to create a new zone from the map there is an error using the TerraServer Server. Third problem: When I try to open a saved cartridge, there is an error reading the cartridge and it won't open. Since the builder program is seven years old and still a beta, does that mean that geocaching.com has abandoned the idea? Should I give up and stick to traditional caches?
  3. Thanks for the suggestions, Ranger Fox. Since my post, I was able to complete the cartridge. The solution was to ignore the map and just walk a little further. I thought I had gone 50 meters, but apparently I hadn't. After I had walked enough, I got the ringy-dingy of completion and the rest went smoothly. Tomorrow I'm going to try to do a Wherigo in the field. My fingers are crossed.
  4. I'm an experienced geocacher and figured it was about time I tried a Wherigo cache. I've got the app and have downloaded some cartridges. Supposedly the "Wherigo Player Tutorial" cartridge can be played anywhere, so I wanted to give it a try. I start playing, got the space suit from the inventory and then I'm directed to walk 50 meters. After I've done that, I check the map and it shows the rocket is in Seattle and I'm in San Diego. I can't proceed any further because I'm too far away. My cell phone accuracy is 16 feet, so that's not the problem. I'm hesitant to go out in the field and try another one, if I can't even make it through the tutorial. Anybody have any ideas on what's wrong or how I can get familiar with the app?
