  1. Fiquei a pensar nisto. Acho que os alertas vão ser contraproducentes. O mentecapto por detrás disto quer é que falem nele. Por outro lado, para que serve um aviso? Vão montar guarda perto das caches? Ignorem, é o meu conselho.
  2. Erm... Situação estranha. Vamos esperar pelos desenvolvimentos.
  3. Really, you should be the one fixing something. You can see almost everything, except the coordinates for PREMIUM MEMBER ONLY CACHES. I don't know the exact percentage of that kind of caches, but I assume they represent a tiny minority among all the others, the ones you call "free".
  4. Right on. It's with pleasure that we look at many of the photos uploaded to cache and tb logs. Maybe that's why we upload a lot of them.
  5. Sorry to spoil the "fun". You can find more information about Darvaza, Turkmenistan (Burning Gas Craters http://johnhbradley.com/pictures2.asp?var=070707darvaza). At wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darvaza
  6. This one is also worth a mention: http://www.mygeocachingprofile.com
  7. Very nice improvements. I enjoyed, particularly, of this one: - Added message after pocket query submission announcing the number of caches which will be returned (at the top of the page) Works great!
  8. I'm pretty sure that will happen as soon as they get it fixed. All the locations are there, as you can see by downloading the GE file. The mileage will show when they solved that thing.
  9. Got our PQs yesterday (Saturday).
  10. We're using a Compaq IPAQ 3850, which has ppc 2003. Works great with GPX Sonar/View, Ozi Explorer, Tomtom navigator and Beeline. It has bluetooth connection which we use with the bt gps module. We just had to buy a new battery at the e-place and got it running very, very smoothly. From the tests we've done, Cachemate is faster than gpx view and sonar, even with the lack of power of our pda. Still, it's a nice to have.
  11. Still, mark it as missing is the correct way since it's really not in the cache, so next finders won't be "fooled" or "sad" by not finding. The mileage will be also correct if the TB is moved after being marked as missing. A mail to the owner explaining why have you marked it missing is also advised.
  12. Scheduled PQs haven't run. I set them to run yesterday, Friday and nothing happened. Still, I made one from scratch and it ran instantly. I'm sure this will get fixed.
  13. It's simple. Go to your cache page, then click on tb listed there. You have an option at the tb page to "mark item as missing". Click OK, and it's fixed.
  14. For Nokia phones with Symbian OS, I highly recommend Smart GPX - http://www.smartcaching.de/smartgpx.html It's a great app and works nicely with the GPS application from Nokia. For the PDA, here's what I recommend: Beeline GPX - navigation and cache descriptions Cachemate - same thing GPX Sonar - Cache descriptions Try it.
Quanto a novas... Não vejo assim nenhuma realmente atractiva o suficiente.
  18. Last September, we did a road trip (5700km round) and 6 countries visited. We prepared the trip in a efficient way. Designed the route in google earth, then uploaded it to geocaching.com and made some PQs. To reduce it's size and range, we've only decided to get traditional, virtuals and webcam caches. Honestly, we wouldn't have time for multi/letterbox or even to crack some puzzles. So, we got almost 50 caches found and a cache, at least, in every country visited. Besides that, geocaching wasn't the prime objective of this trip. Of course, we wouldn't pass the chance of getting a found if there was one in our way or... maybe 5km to the left or right. Have fun and drive safely!
  19. We'll be there. We're just waiting for you to buy us some airline tickets. Have a blast there!
  20. Test this two: Cachemate BeelineGPS GPX Sonar (for browsing GPX files, see cache descriptions, etc). The two on top are the most complete.
  21. Think that's due a minor glitch happening on travel bug pages. Here's where they'ra talking about it. Good luck to your tb's. :-)
  22. Depois de um atraso considerável, já respondi ao mortadela. :-) Não se apressem em dar logo destino aos TBs, excepto se estes estiverem numa corrida. Ponham-nos a circular e verão que chegam ao destinos num instante.
  23. Ok, wild guess. You saw Elvis. Thanks for the cointest and congratulations to the winner (not us, for sure! )
