  1. You can also get there by entering the TB # (TBxxxxx) instead of the tracking number. Since you can get there multiple ways, I don't think you'll see the tracking number in the box.

I created a Greasemonkey script on my laptop that will remember a tracking number after I enter it into a trackable's page. If I ever return to the page, since I logged it before, the correct tracking number will appear there again.

Ranger Fox, care to share that script? Please? :)

  2. That would be interesting, and solely by that point of view. Interesting. Like statistically interesting.

I have no doubt that it would raise angst towards Magellan users, Garmin users, Lowrance, Bluetooth Antennas users, etc.

I've seen more human errors than the ones from the GPSrs, even the ones with, 5, 7, 8 years old (the GPSr, of course).

The most common one is take coordinates close to a wall or a building. No matter what GPS you're using, the error will be great due to poor reception caused by that wall. I always remember the phrase "There's no GZ by a building or a great wall!

  3. That's truly a great and ambitious adventure. That sure takes a lot of courage.

We definitely encourage a visit to Azores and Portugal. In the Azores you must visit the island of Horta, a must visit place for everyone who travels by sea. There you have some a virtual named Horta.

If you intend to also visit a harbour in continental Portugal, the community would be glad to set up a welcome event or a meet up for you. Contact us if you plan to do that. You'll be pleased. :)

  5. We attended our first Flash Mob Event, the WWFM IV Lisboa.

It was great! Really, really great! :-)

The attendees had to get a map, whatever kind of map. Some brought huge ones, some of Portugal, some of resorts, etc. So, 10 minutes before, there was a mob around GZ wandering with open maps... going back and forth.

There was also something going on that really spiced up things. The place chosen, a famous square in Lisbon, was also a passing point of a teachers rally, protesting against the education laws in Portugal. They were 110,000!! Could that be the biggest event ever?

At the chosen time, I shouted that the event was going to start, gave the logbook and got assaulted by the hungry geocaching mob.

15 min later and after the group photo, everyone kind of went away. Some stayed.

    It was great!

  6. Geocaching.com es uno sitio familiar. La imagen de perfile de fetiche era... muy agradable, mas no era "familiar" - ademas era de Playboy... :yikes:

Creo que es facile de entender.

Fetiche, es "Censored" no "censured".

  7. I read this thread about 30min ago and noticed that our profile was ok, once again.

Unfortunately, seems the glitch is back. The code was stripped once again.

    Here's our profile.

Here's a pic of the glitch:

Seems to be affecting only the profiles... right?

    Hope this helps!

  8. Here's our Land Rover Discovery 2.5 TD5 at GC152KA: Meco - Entre Céu & Mar.

    At sunset.

Caching just got better when we got the LR. We enjoy going off-road pretty much, just like our kids that go crazy when the bumps and "jumps" begin.

We had serious fun on a event in Portugal, dedicated do 4x4 caching. Lots of 4x4 vehicles were there. Lots of fun and adrenaline.

Here we ar, on 4th place.

Going down... Yeah, we got or LR all wrapped in plastic! :D

We're still a bit cautious some times, specially dealing with potentially difficult obstacles when we're driving alone. Better safe than sorry.

We truly love our Land Rover!

Our key-chain is this geocoin made by Erik88L. And of course, our LR is also a travelbug.

    Thanks for the cointest!
