  1. That is what worked for me and my Garmin. While you are on the Geocaching site just click tools and you will see compatibility view settings. Click "add this website" Had me baffled for a long time but works great now Cash King I also did this and it worked. Funny thing is it made it work in both IE and Firefox, go figure but hey it works!
  2. Though not my experience, this happened this month not here in NB, Canada, not far from my place http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/rcmp-don-t-suspect-foul-play-in-death-of-woman-in-coles-island-1.2608582
  3. I like going out with my son Jack, my name is Ian and there are the two of us, hence TwoEyeJay using the our first initials
  4. I figured as much and will do that
  5. When signing logs in found caches, is it general practice to use your geocaching username, or your actual name. This might sound like a funny question, but I have seen what appears to be both on a log or two, though I'm new and have only found 6 so far.
  6. I switch the compatibility mode in IE and it works, it now also works with Mozilla Firefox! Thanks for the tip Gitchee-Gummee, much appreciated!
  7. Thanks for the very quick reply. I use firefox, and will play around with it a bit more. Knowing the problem is on my end helps a lot so I know I'm not messing around for nothing. I can add the .loc files manually, so it's not a huge deal for us atm.
  8. Hi everyone! I am very new to all of this, picked up a gps recently as spring and summer are fast approaching. I hope this will be a fun hobby for my 3 year old son and I to get fresh air and exercise. My question is about the 'send to my gps' button when I look up caches. It does not seen to work and keeps directing me to download the software, which I have done. Is this a function that is only available to premium members? I do intend to purchase a membership, but just want to see how much the family enjoys it before hand. Thanks for any help!
