  1. What is a good price on a NIB Rhino 110? Would this make a good first unit for someone wanting to try out Geocaching? There are a couple on clearance and I was just wondering about them. Thanks
  2. Thanks to all who helped out. That is the information I was looking for. I will try to read all the pinned posts and faqs before I ask anymore questions. I do appreciate the help that I got. Happy GEOCaching to all.
  3. WOW! I can see I made a wise choice in selecting a new hobby. Such friendly helpful folks here.
  4. Is there a site on the net that you can enter a street address and it will give you the gps cooridinates?
  5. This post is absolutely useless without pictures!
  6. Was it really the peeing or do you just have something aginst fat people. Couldnt be some WHITE, BLACK, BROWN, GAY, TALL, guy? Had to be a fat guy.
  7. Wow Munin that was really some great information. Thanks so much for taking the time to check alll that out for me. What does a topo map do that the street maps dont? It sounds liek the 60 would do but the 76 is only $30 more so I may still go that way unless there is another benifit to the 60 over the 76. How much memory do you normally need for caching activities. Thanks again for the help.
  8. I think I have narrowed it down to the Garmin 60cs or 76cs. How much memory do I really need. I am sticking to 1 state and probabbly major cities like Houston. I would like detailed road maps for travel. Do these have the geocaching features?
  9. I am thinking about getting into the GPS world and need some advise as to which unit to buy. I am looking at a few : Magellan Meridian Color Traveler Pack 450.00, Garmin 60cs 395.00, 76cs 424.00, GPS V Deluxe pack 299.00 and so on. What do you think of these and what would you recommend. I want to get driving directions and maps and start geocaching. I know I can get cheaper for a beginner but figure I will want to up grade later anyway. Thanks for your help.
