  1. I don't really see a reason to do that. It Is interesting to know who's watching your cache. I just don't know If I want people to know I'm watching their cache. I know that sounds silly but that's my gut reaction. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  2. I disagree! I do believe he's sitting at home In Butte Falls pretending to be In Hawaii. I could be wrong that has happened once but It could be true . Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  3. I scanned over everyone's antidotes for PO and all I can really think Is Bull. I am the one who never thought he could get PO. I could walk through It and I had no problems. A couple years ago I started having BAD reactions to PO. I have literally tried everything I was told to use. I have spent lots of money on stuff with very little results. The only thing that works for me Is time. I buy Aveeno to relieve the itch and try to leave alone. I hate PO and do the best I can to avoid It but somehow I always get It every spring. To everyone who suffers like me trust me I feel your pain but hey at least It shows you arn't sitting around watching tv. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  4. I have done a few caches at night mostly because I didn't have enough daylight. For a added bonus I suggest adding beer to the equation! I find that really helps with my night time geocaching experiance. Don't hunt what you can't kill!

    test my avator

Now I just want to see which one I like best, If any! Don't hunt what you can't kill!

    test my avator

hopefully this will work. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  7. That Is one thing that I can agree with you about. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  8. My favorite cache is one that Is still there! Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  9. Don't stop short people or someone is gonna see what you had for breakfast! Take a couple steps back guy your lips are warm enough. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  10. Well I think 9key was busy this weekend because he denied me a cache I put out. Someone else must have had the same Idea as me this weekend because the cache I put out was less then .10 from one that was just approved. I just wasn't quick enough. The few caches I have put out lately have all been approved by people out of Oregon. At least they got approved. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  11. My first Item I took was a emergency blanket out of my third find. I believe I took It because the cache was getting too full. In regards to the signature Item's I always take those. I don't know what I'm gonna do with them but I'm sure It will be mean spirited. The personalized magnets are gracing the front of my beer fridge in my shop. Like some of the others the signature Item's are the first thing I look for. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  12. signed log Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  13. Well right now I don't do anything with that personalized stuff, but my plans are evil. The mags are on my fridge in the shop. When I first started caching I thought all the Items In the cache was really cool, then after a while I just put stuff In and don't take anything. I just like finding the cache mostly. Now let me ask you, what do you do with all the trinkets? After a while I bet you start putting in your logs TNLNSL. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  14. Personally I don't think leaving a personalized Item (card, button, magnet) Is commercial at all. I have a couple caches under my belt and I go after the personalized Items these days. Anybody can go to a doller store and pick up a few trinckets to put in caches but these people went out of their way to make or have something made to put in a cache. If It has their buisness on it I don't really think thats right but most things I find In my area are related to geocaching. The Items I find here in Oregon are really cool and I appreciate them a lot more then other peoples junk. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  15. Well the weekend will be here before you know It and so will the pizza bash! I'm going to try and put out a couple more caches In the area before the weekend. I know the contest is for the weekend but might as well put some out while I'm In the mood. I'm curious to see who show's up! P-head? I dought It, he's been no showing a lot. Lazyboy? Hard telling there, track record and all you know. Miteymite? I hope so! Mailleman? Of course he won a free pint from one of my first finders, If there's beer he's there. For that matter what about the host? Haven't heard from him. Well we will have to wait and see! Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  16. Well I see The Mailleman's cache has posted. I'm about to go ahead and put one in the system and well see how that goes. I have to give credit where credit is due though. I placed a micro in the middle of the week and It was approved in a couple of hours. I was very pleased with that mostly because I had never had such a quick response. Hopefully I'll have the same luck now. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  17. I must be a fortunate one! I have only placed 12 caches and have not had a problem with any of them. Matter of fact I put out a micro this past week and It was approved in a matter of 2-3 hours. I'm not saying that others don't have problems I'm saying I haven't. The only suggestion I could make to anyone Is change It up a bit and resubmit It. I wanted to do a virtual and heard that they were tightening up on virts so I hid a micro along with It and made It a multi. There are things you can do to make It more interesting. You may now begin blasting me I have to go caching. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  18. I fully intend on placing the coin in another cache but If someone wants to keep it so be it. This topic is almost a mute point! Matter of fact here are the instructions: Feel free to place it in a geocache, or pass it on to a friend and see where it goes! If you prefer, you are also welcome to keep it and give it a new home. If indeed Moun10bike wants these to move along I will definatly oblige but he should push that issue a little. You are now welcome to start blasting me now I have to get up, go outside and place a cache. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  19. Well now you just didn't try hard enough now did you? Now that is a pleasant surprise. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  20. Wow I can't believe I forgot all about this one. That's my own fault, I know I would have had a good time and got a bunch new caches under my belt. So how did It go? Another one in the works? Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  21. It doesn't matter If It's two women, two men, a male and female couple the point is It's Illegal for one. Two If It's a public place I don't want to walk up on that. Imagine this your In a park casually looking for a cache with your mother! Then you walk up on a couple doing the nasty! Not a plesant thought Is It? I don't know why things get so turned around in these forums. Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  22. I will also admit I have #058. I found It when I first started Geocaching. I did have good intentions to place it in another cache. Then one day I went to check out what the goal of the bug was! Lo and behold It also said If I wanted I could keep the coin, so I did. That was a year ago and I now have decided to place the coin In a cache I am going to put out soon. Mostly I want to place It because I want to see the locals scramble for It. That and I might as well let someone else enjoy it for awhile and sit In their possesion. Don't hunt what you can't kill!

    Older GPS

I have a Magellan 300 and I have been caching a little over a year. I like my GPS and have done almost all of my finds with it. I have a e-trex which I don't quite like but It has It's advantages. The Magellan almost always gets me within 20 feet. I feel that no matter what type of GPS you have you are going to have let your instincts kick in to find it. I have yet to be skunked on a find so my GPS must be doing ok. When It comes right down to It I am cheap! I don't want to spend money on another toy when the one I have right now is fine. If all you use your GPS is for geocaching and your doing fine with the one you have why waste your money? Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  24. Those are good idea's. I keep all mine in the back of my car, preferably on the floor. In all honestly as I got more and more into geocaching I wished I would have done that, But I didn't. When I first started I thought Geocaching would end up being like many of my other hobbies. You know the ones, the ones that you forget about in a month. Well hindsight is 20/20 and looking back It's still a bit fuzzy! Don't hunt what you can't kill!
  25. Quality control for a government subcontractor. Hey Maliberry, Wanna go geocachin'? Don't hunt what you can't kill!
