  1. I've used it extensively for geo - and I concur with this post,, and I would be 100% happy,,,
  2. A few of my adds: Caching and having to switch from 'Street to Street' Routing from Map NAV screen to the Compass Screen it's very cumbersome to have to rechoose the Cache again on a 'Point to Point' route - it should be automatic,, Secondly when on any NAV Screen you should be able to Read the Details of the 'GOTO Point' rather than zooming in on it from the map to click it or to Menu it in with 5clicks,,, I just want the Cache Details made easy,, Third - More Characters in the Hint. Lastly have 4 customizable fields rather than 'Two Data Fields' !!!! Thanks brbo

  4. Parsa,, I just exchanged my 600 Yesterday for some problems, and the new RAM magnifier was in stock just recently,, I would say it's very industrial and will do the job to make the screen bigger - seems distorted,,, however isn't the reason for a smaller receiver just that - this thing is pretty big and bulky, I saved my $34.95 www.gpscentral.ca brbo
  5. Where are you located - and what is your ball park,,, what items do you have specifically that comes with it,, thanks Brian
  6. Hello All,, Stupid move on my part - my motherboard died and I sent my PC away for repairs which is going to be a couple weeks,, realized I left the Factory Geocahing Software CD in the drive,, Now I'm leaving for vacation next weekend -and my laptop doesn't have any software installed and would like to upload caches to my unit for the trip - what would be the easiest way to do this and what software,, I can't seem to find the Unit Supplied software available anywhere on the Factory Magellan site... Thanks for your help,, Brian
  7. Hello, I've recently bought an E600 - less than 3 weeks ago,, I have been learning it and reading up on all the excellent quality information and discussions on this list, thank you to all that participate. To date I'm quite happy with my Unit except for all the things that have now been pointed out (Thanks DOT-COM ) , my questions is this - after only two weeks of in house / easy use the 'Enter' button is cutting itself at the bottom of the button, which is probably going to compromise it's Water Resistance,, have anyone else had this concern with this button ?? Is it worth returning with a couple week turn around time, and will they fix it or replace it ?? Thanks for the help, Regards, Brian
  8. Does anyone have a map to offer of Streets for the E600 for BC Canada ?? Thanks Brian
  9. I to would be insterested in the process of uploading maps from a MAC to my E600,, if anyone has any easy instructions on the process it would be greatly appreciated,, After I get one detailed map of streets/roads and one good topo map, each of North America, why would I need anything further (I only need US/Canada) ?? If I can go this route is one 1Gb SD going to be enough memory for both those maps ?? Last thing - any more info on a software update for the E600 to improve / enhance the current progams ?? Thanks brbo
  10. sdsdv10, Thanks for the news,, PS you can add another email address to the letter about this issue where the USB locks up that needs a HARD reboot to get the GPS functional again. Please keep us posted of the results Cheers Brian
