  1. Has anybody figured out a way to display the name of particular tracks in the map screen? I find it challenging at times to have several tracks up on the screen and trying to figure out which is which. I had thought that the "pin" feature would display its name once you hovered atop the track line, but no go. Other than sorting through your track library one by one and viewing the map page for each, you have no way of knowing which track is which. Ideas?
  2. I see. For the record I do have other GPSr's such as the Oregon 550 and a 60Cx that I use regularly on my sleds, I just really like the big screen on the Nuvi W-series GPS's and I've been having some fun loading topo maps up on them lately and using them. I'll probably end up going with a 276C eventually but they're getting so hard to find these days.
  3. As I am a big believer in RAM's products, I also found this, which would no doubt help for use in a rough-and-tumble setting more so than the regular mount: http://www.ram-mount.com/NewProducts/garminnuvimount/tabid/3423/Default.aspx Still no screen protection though...
  4. Yes, I have managed to find that one a few times, but it's not the one I'm after. Thanks for the tip, but I'll wait to see if there are any other options.
  5. Hi everybody, I have searched high and low and have not yet found the case that I once saw for a Garmin Nuvi W-series GPS; it was hard, clear plastic and snapped onto the front (and possibly rear, to encapsulate the unit) to protect it from rain. It disabled the touchscreen functions of the GPS if I recall correctly. Can anybody point me to this product and/or vendor? I have a Nuvi 205W and 250W that I would like to use on a snowmobile (esp the 205W with tracklog function) but without the cover I am reluctant to try it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
