Hi, My family is planning a trip to san francisco during spring break. I was wondering if there is anything special you need to worry about by carring a gps on an air plane. With all this terrorist stuff i was wondering if it is even legal to carry a gps on an airplane. (getting past security screenings). Thanks Jayrod7

Im 14 and i have my own id. I started caching with my aunt/uncle for a while. I cache with my mom and or brother (16). Neither my brother or my mom have id's. They say they just follow me

dont think 14 will count

One nice warm christmas day in omaha nebraska, 2 families were geocaching on the UNO campus. We drove along until we came to a parking lot closest to the cache when a campus guard pulled his truck and walked over to us (did i mention he had his siren going?) this is what he did 1)took liscence plate numbers 2) called local police 3) checked to make sure all the doors were locked around us 4) made us show him what we were doing 5) called off the local police after we showed him the gc website. WATCH OUT FOR CAMPUS SECURITY ON CHRISTMAS we got in alot of trouble that day. we decided to drive off. we came back when the guard left and quickly got the cache done.

I found a broken washing machine once. it looked like it had been out there for a while too.

its a good idea. i saw this in the "idiots guide to geocaching" i think i was going to try it but i gave up
