best buy for about $68 and great in the woods

  3. :D last week I was looking for a cache in a small park and under the stump where the cache was hidden there was a plastic garbage bag with something smelly dead animal or fish

today I went under a covered bridge to hide a cache near the river and there was packages of meat from the local butcher scatered around the woods to make things worse at attracted a lot of yellow jacks and my son got bit

    any idea whats going on

Its bow hunting season here in oregon maybe people are baiting bear, but in a park or near a landmark bridge :D

It locks onto satalites even under heavy tree cover and gets me within a few feet most of the time

I bought it at at a store call bi mart in the northwest but they have it on amazon.com for target for $68.00 and free shipping

  5. For free  containers try asking for empty film containers at a 1 hour photo the will usualy give you all you want

also try a pharmist. They get pills in 1 qt. plastic bottles that are water tight ,they may give them to you if you ask nice

  6. THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL THAT COMES WITH THE ifinder go sucks

for a basic unit that many beginers will buy it gives almost no instruction

not even how to enter a waypoint I had to play with it for about 1 hour to figure it out

anyone know where to get better instrutions for this unit?

  7. good will and other thrift shops sell containers like large mouthed thermases for $1-2

all kinds of tins for less than a dollar

sometimes ammo boxes or tool boxs

maybe a pressure cooker(Its airtight so its water proof and animal proof{maybe not a large bear or a smart racoon}) :D
