  1. Congrats to Hydnsek on her 2000th! Higgins is on my short list.
  2. Good reading, Belleterre! that must be cool for some to hike up at night to see the glowing rocks!
  3. Belated congrats to L&R for their 4200nd find and to Patudles for her 2000th career find!
  4. OhJoy! got her 3,000th Find today at Got Coin? Congrats to you!!!
  5. I agree with EraSeek. I've never met a hiker that wasn't a nice person, but we'll need to have our guards up.
  6. Keep your eyes open for possible geocoin sightings LOL. I remember that OR coin you left. STill got it as a keepsake of that first climb up there.
  7. It'll be fun to get up there again. I'm in!
  8. Congrats to the Masterpuzzler for his 2800th Find at our new cache in Marysville...Hobbe's cache.
  9. I drive a Jeep so I decided to keep my first Yellow jeep tb. I do have a white jeep that I've had for months, but it's moving into my next hide which may occur next weekend if conditions allow. As for Moun10bike geocoins, I've found a lot of his first edition coins, but kept only the lowest number. In those days, he ok'd keeping one for collection, but if they have 1 K miles, they should be moved to another cache. But lately, I've been thinking I might put that old coin back in circulation, but I ask that it keep moving along and to special caches.
  10. We probably will not attend since this is our area, but who knows. We might stop by the dinner thing. I haven't looked at the list, but our cache at Kayak Point Overlook should be off the list. It won't support a big group of people going the woods. No formal trail...more of a game trail to the cache.
  11. dadgum it! One of the best ever planted. I wanted to take IMW there.
  12. My sweetheart Inmywoods and I love to cache from time to time, but we also love to do other things as well. In the past, I was definitely too hooked on the game, but now things are in check. I'll sometimes go caching solo in the city as she doens't like the urban caches that much.
  13. French Peak is no longer virgin. Congrats to the first finders...looks like new cachers. Dang! Was thinking of going for it this weekend if weather cooperated.
  14. I've hiked for years solo. Never felt the need to pack a gun. The ten essentials and letting someone know where I'm going. Common sense and instinct are utilized. I won't do anything I'm not comfortable with even if it means turning around and I stick to my turn around time. Period!
  15. Congrats to NBJPopppa, grossi, shunra, and Plaidguy!
  16. Well, I know of some good areas for Morels, but it's way down by Trout Lake area...about 21 miles north of White Salmon. The best tiem for them is in May though.
  17. Dang it, I was gonna do it before too long.
  18. Congrats to my friends...the Wienerdogs and L&R on reaching 4K!
  19. Logging?!!!! I've hiked all over that area long before caching. Beautiful area. I guess I'd better Inmywoods up there to do some hiking soon. We will keep an eye out for petitions to sign or whatever. Lost lake is one of my favorite spots and the Oyster Dome is something else!
