Well... slightly o/t but... I Met this cacher at a picnic this past weekend, and was Highly impressed with her (yes her) dedication to the trackables. She's a school teacher and seems to be one Very nice and outgoing person. And yes... that tattoo is very much real. Teachers just weren't that cool when I was in school, maybe if they had been I'd be in politics or the head of Microsoft. To keep this in the right forums thread, I will add that she seemed very interested in geocoins... Might be interesting to see what artwork shows up next. A Bugs Life

I got my third and final Mission in today and boy was it a keeper. Lots of coins, and someone knew I was a sucker for wooden nickels and sig. items. Thank you so much LoriDarlin, you spoil me. Absolutely awesome. Love everything.. Really!!! I'm almost speechless..( and thats not easy to do)

I was gifted a Tatanka Pejula coin at our fall picnic today. I don't know about the rest of the set but the one I received was very nice. Thank you CF30 for the gift, and Thanks Tsun for putting these out. It was a nice gift, and I appreciate it.

I posted on post 296 about receiving the 2nd of three missions. Still haven't gotten the third. No worries, still waiting.

I'd also be interested in one or two myself depending on variations, take your time, no hurry here.

Hypothetically, if this evolves into a situation where the sales gets separated from the main geocoin forums, just how convoluted will that thread be? The trading thread gets pretty diluted sometimes, and the activation code clearing house is worthless from a practical standpoint, unless you have the time and wherewithall to wade through all the posts. I am all for the sales and promotion of new coins having their own corner of these forums, but there really needs to be a method to the madness.

Well I'm not going to get in a big debate over why some people get a wrinkle in their skivvies when their coin is sold on ebay. I will agree that gifted coins shouldn't be sold. Free market coins on the other hand are different. This Ebay discussion has been going on for at least two years now, and there's no sign of everyone coming to an agreement one way or another on this very much discussed subject. (Just do a forum title search for "ebay" and see how many threads there have been in just the past year.) Everyone has a right to their own opinon. I will say that when I trade or give one of my coins to someone, they can do with it what they will. That's just me, it's my opinion and it's just as valid as anyone elses.

I normally don't post in this thread, but today I received a coin out of the blue from an unknown person(s) and wanted to say thank you. I really appreciate it and hope to be able to return the favor sometime. Before you ask, it was a Hurricane Katrina working together coin. Very nice. Thank you. I also got a Kiana Lys Leon through a trade and the new Remember 9-11 coin both of which are spectacular.

Any of you guys who still haven't received their Wyoming coins from late 2005, I hear this guy "nodabshere" AKA WYLostinMA has LOTS and LOTS of them for trade including both the pewter and the bronze and you should contact him. That is soooo not cool. I figured sooner or later someone would rear their head with a wad of these. I feel bad for all the folks that got screwed on this coin. I personally did receive mine (AFTER MONTHS AND MONTHS) and donated some to folks that got shafted. I smell socks.... REALLY REALLY STINKY SOCKS
