I try to send geocache from list to my GPS but it never gets there. Now when I look it always says "error"

I can download everything from my list to my Garmin 550 except one geocache. I use my etrex 20 and everything from the same list is downloaded. I have tried everything. It shows up in my 550 GPX files but not on my garmin 550 geocaches. Does anyone know why? Thank You Cash King

You guys are correct. They just logged it but dated it 4 years ago.

An email was sent by Geocaching HQ stating my geocache has a new log. But it has not shown up on the geocaching website. Email Log states it was found which I need it to show because it has not been found for three years and many people quit looking because they think it probably is not there. Does anyone know why?

I tried them all and then I then tried a different browser (fire fox). It worked great I have Microsoft edge which it did not work with. Thank You all for all the help

I go to edit and it let me upload an image.(which I did) But when I edit the name and mission it accepts it but then asks to list a country. I highlight the United States it will not fill it into the blank and starts the process all over again. I have tried several times. Cash King

When I activated my new travel bug I did not get a chance to name it or give it a goal. I have not placed it yet as I would like to know how to edit it so I can give a name and goal. I can not figure how to do it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank You Cash King

It has been a while since I downloaded a geocache to my GPS and now it is all different. It now longer says "send to my GPS" and I can't learn how to do it now.. I need help

I have an Oregon 550T. When I try to use the compass to go to a waypoint it only points to the last Geocache that I found. On two part Geocaches where I have to enter another set of longitudes and latitudes and hit go. the go to compass won't point there. What am I doing wrong?

In the menu, look for the “Setup” spanner wrench and tap that. In German, it's labeled “Einstellung”. Then tap the top button in the list, “System”, and then the button called “Sprache Deutsch”, and scroll to the top of the languages. Select “English”. Even if it's not German, maybe that's enough to get it set up again. It was not German but it was enough to get me back to English. I thank you very much. Cash King

I turned my Oregon 550t on and it has what appears to be German now instead of English. I can not do anything with it and I don't know how to reset it. It was working find an hour ago. Can any one help? thank you Cash King

did what you said. I renamed it to #001 and then marked another waypoint and it started at #002. So I guess that was not too hard in case it happens again. Thanks Cash King

I had the waypoint number 001 and used it regularly then all at once I have to start with 002. I have went to waypoint manager and it is not there. I connected to my PC and deleted all waypoints. It is still not there. I searched the forums and cannot find how to get it back. Can anyone of you guys help me out Thank You Cash King

Place them in the "Profiles" folder. The existing ones are 240 x 400 pixel JPGs. In the System menu, you can pick select one of them as the background picture. The pictures I want are in my "pictures" in my computer I want to upload them into my Garmin how do I do that On a Windows computer you should be able to open the folder with your pictures, open the Garmin, find the picture you want on the Garmin, click it with your mouse, and drag it from the computer to the Garmin. I figured I needed two windows to show at the same time for that. which I couldn't do. But I did copy and paste it into the Garmin folder and got it to work that way. Thank You Cash King

Yes I was using the geocaching dashboard. And both of you guys are right. It all works now. I was puzzled as to why the compass shows how far it was to the closest Geocache. The manual doesn't show any of that. Thanks to the both of you. Cash King

I marked a waypoint and then when I wanted to go to it I could not get the compass to point in that direction and also most important to me was how far away it is from me. Is there a way to do either or both of these things. I am using a Garmin 550t. Thank You Cash King

That is what worked for me and my Garmin. While you are on the Geocaching site just click tools and you will see compatibility view settings. Click "add this website" Had me baffled for a long time but works great now Cash King
