Your welcome, I think basically dont put your gps into removable storage and just upload, this will give you the geocaches. This will only allow 30 characters for notes. If you put it onto storage it allows 80 characters for notes but only shows as custom pois. good luck. :-)

Hiya all thank you for finding time to reply and help. I finally found the problem. Sometimes the answer is right in front of you and you cant see it, just like finding a nano lol. I hadn't checked automatically send to gpsr.....within the advanced link in the macro and also I had to use the poi loader manually first. All working great now.. Thank you again ;-)

Hiya, I am pretty new to this and will try to help. I have just been bought a 60cx for my birthday. I know there are a couple of ways of loading waypoints. One via the removable storage, or straight into on board memory. I use gsak, I turn on the gps connect to pc and from the menu when it is on satellite page I click turn off gps. I go to the file within gsak and if uploading one file, I right click that and just click send to gps, or if multiple files, I check which ones then send to gps via a tag at top of gsak. I then disconnect usb, push find button, then geocaches, and they are all there. I select which one and away I go. , Now if you go to settings and put gps into removable storage and do the above you will find them in custom poi instead and these will be on maps as waypoints also. Not in the geocache tab. So is it possible you are loading onto sd card ? I dont know if this has helped at all, but the above definiatly works for me.

Hello to you all, I am new to geocaching. I started with an etrex yellow and got hooked lol. So for my birthday I got a garmin 60cx. I installed gsak, downloaded a pq and using gsak sent them to my unit. This works no problem. I was then watching a you tube vid which was a guy called headhardhat's geosnippits, and he was sending the gsx files to the card of the unit. This allows you to store as many as your card can hold ( as you all prob know lol ) So I have been following that step by step. I downloaded macro. put unit into storage card mode, I click on run macro, and it counts the caches.. but then stops and nothing. On vid it shows once it has counted files it then uploads to unit. That is the part that will not happen. uninstalled reinstalled.. is there a step by step tutorial or am I missing something really simple which is normally the case... On pc is vista home. I can see the removable storage as f via my comp, and it is empty. Thank you for any help guys or gals ... Oaken.
