The finds are located in the geocache_visits.txt in the \garmin folder on the device.

If you are in the UK then the GAGB have a phone number which they say you can put on as a contact

I'm not sure the warranty would be valid at all.
I remember trying to register a camera I bought while working in the US and it wouldn't let me as the serial number didn't 'tie up' with a UK address.
Actually the camera packed up, but before I came hope, so I was able to get a refund...phew!!

The questions are usually ones which you can only answer by being at the right place.
One close by to us asks for the height of a layer in the cliffs and as it varies along the cliff you need to be in the right place to 'measure' (take an educated guess!).

Just wondering why you got a Bluetooth GPSr when the built in GPSr on the phone should be just as good?
In my experience it never was, that's why I used a bluetooth GPS...plus it was only £15 to buy one!
I'd agree with you about a proper GPSr though

I've used the Googoo Android app when I had a bluetooth GPS and it works just fine...that's the reason to use it!

The thing which is weird to me is that it seems to have 'vanished' from the Garmin website, even on the 'discontinued models'...the relevant pages are there hidden away, but not obvious to find. Is the Colorado the black sheep of the Garmin family??

Re-reading the original post again...do you mean you went to a cache which had a TB logged in it and it wasn't there?
If it is then it could be someone has taken it and hasn't logged it yet.

You should look into the BirdsEye Select OS maps for only £ 19.99 LINK. That shouldn't empty your wallet:)
I've looked at these before. The problem is that the price is for 600sq km..which sounds a lot but will only be an area 15 miles by 15 miles

At least they are updating the firmware, which has got to be a good thing

Avoid the Wave as it's not an Android phone but uses Bada which is Samsung's own operating system
As to the others I'm not sure, I sometimes use a Galaxy S which is OK I guess, but you can't beat a proper GPSr for the reasons already been outlined

I've been using the Talkytoaster maps on my colorado which are based on OpenStreetMap, which are fine but often I feel I need more detail.
I've also been using Orux maps on my android phone which you can download the OS tiles to use offline.
But since MOBAC doesn't allow you to use OS maps any more, is there any way of putting OS detail maps on my colorado?
Apart from splashing out on Garmin OS maps which are a bit OTT as regard the prices that is.

Hi Andy, you could give posting in the UK forum a go, there maybe someone close to you.
I've only done a couple of multi's so I'm no expert! I'd check on the difficulty rating, I've seen multi's which are easy and just a question of noting down numbers, but others are a 5 rating so must be very cryptic...so best to stay clear of these for a bit!!

A quick search around suggests you can upload from the 60csx to the field notes..although http://garmincolorado.wikispaces.com/Colorado+vs+60csx suggests not!!
I guess someone with a 60csx will be able to help better...

Went out after work today for a couple of hours, only found 3 caches but we were FTF on all of them
Also let our first TB we have released to go on it's travels.Any had a lovely 2.5 mile walk around fields/woods in the evening sun...what could be better?

You can download drivers for Windows 7 64 bit so it looks like it will do the job
