  1. I couldn't get the link to the AR code to work, so I did a search and here's a copy/paste of the verbiage of 5-39-305: 5-39-305. Criminal trespass on land. (a)(1) A person shall not enter without written permission of the owner or lessee upon another person's property located outside the boundaries of any city or town if that land is either: (A) Lawfully posted; ( Crop land; or © Enclosed with a fence sufficient under § 2-39-101 et seq. (2) The posting of land is not a requirement under this section. ((1) Any person who violates this section shall be deemed guilty of a violation and shall be subject to a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100). (2) However, a violation of this section shall be a Class B misdemeanor if the property was posted pursuant to the laws of this state. © It is an affirmative defense to a prosecution that: (1) The person did not knowingly enter upon another person's property; (2) The person was a guest or invitee; (3) The person was required to enter upon the premises of another for business reasons or for health and safety reasons; (4) The person was authorized by law to enter upon the land; or (5) The privately owned land was made open to the public. (d)(1) This section shall not apply to public land. (2) This section shall not apply to a law enforcement officer in the line of duty. (e) Nothing in this section shall repeal any law concerning posting of land or trespass. History. Acts 1995, No. 870, §§ 1, 2; 1999, No. 1029, § 4.
  2. My favorite modified Twain quote: "Outside of a dog a GPSr is man's best friend; inside of a dog it's too dark to see the coords."
  3. I'm not sure how up-to-date the info is, but here's a site I ran across the other day: http://www.geocachingpolicy.com/ Fletch
  4. Man, a parking meter would be awesome! Talk about urban camo. I wonder if there's any in town that aren't bolted down tight... Pipe cutter. But I never told you that. You might want to rethink the pipe cutter thing. Ever seen "Cool Hand Luke"?
  5. Perhaps this type of replacement top would help make the paint bucket more waterproof. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like it's threaded. As long as it has a gasket of some type it might be a better solution. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=192204
  6. I posted a couple of SBA's last month. Did I jump the gun on these two? Neither of the owners have been "playing the game" for quite some time now. Kind of strange that there has been no response from the cache approver. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...0b-a750de2b9872 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...d0-dd2b8073a2fa
  7. Hello all! This is my first post, so I guess I've been a lurker until now. My question is for the Garmin 60cs users out there. Can you select/change the unit of measure for the distance to a waypoint? I've just about made up my mind on the 60cs for my next GPSr. But, I'd like to make sure that the distance to waypoint can be displayed in yards. Sorry if this subject has been covered in other threads. I did some searches and couldn't come up with anything. I also did some searches on Garmin's website. One more quick question from an explorist 300 user: The 60cs will project waypoints, right? Thanks in advance! FletchWL
