  1. My aol wont let me get on. I use Internet Explorer and it lets me. They are updating somthing to do with PDF files and the Diff/Terrain stars are different.
  2. srt4guy, if you leave the valve open for 2 weeks would all the propane be out?
  3. I found this cache on vaction. The description says there are gates completley surrounding it,,,,,,There are two gates that are never closed if they even have a gate(bad memory) It is literaly 10-15 feet from a major railroad. Amtrack stops and picks up people, and there are cargo trains that go through. I have no idea how it got approved? GCPZ521 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...25-414f165bf793
  4. Team Firebird "you should not encourage people opening up doors in propane tanks. also, you need to have a warning like "Do not try this at home, or you will seriously regret it." I see what you mean by the warning because somone will try to cut open a full tank. New England nOOb "Safety concerns aside, I would NEVER approach a private cabin in the woods unless it was an emergency and I needed help ASAP" The private cabin was not used in the last 4 years. It is kinda antique looking. I would give corndniates of where to park and how to get there.[/color] DestJocky 1. Have you ever torched or cut a hole in a tank like this before? There are some safety concerns here. 2. Water tight? 3. How you going to keep people from climbing in? 4. How are you going to keep people from tossing stuff out of easy reach? 1. My friend is a teacher at a metal working class. 2. I would think it would be with a ruber "lip" that would wrap around the lid and would secure it, i think it would . 3. I have a tank that is 3ft. long, I could not find a tank of that size with a picture. 4. Basicly the same as three but the lid would not be on the end half-sphere it would be on the flat cylinder. The propane smell would be bad, good point John X Edited for Common Sense
  5. My idea would be to put a Propane Tank next to a old wooden cabin on my sister's in-laws land. It would have a square cut it to it and then replaced with two hinges and a rubber "lip" for a seal. It would be a find with many swags in it so alot of my area would enjoy it not being a micro. Would this work or do you have any better ideas for a Propane Tank (but a little bit shorter) EDIT: (Hank Hill would be pround of me)
  6. my thinking is that it would jump ahead 19 feet and then go back to accurate, 19ft in a second on a razor scooter is quite impressive
  7. it shows me going 20mph but the closest ive gotten to that is 17mph with major wind. So that 20 is like yea right. Sure looks good when you brag to your friends.
  8. My question is, is the speed as accurate? The range is usually 19ft. I try to see how fast i can go on my scooter and unicycle but somtimes its outragous. Is this known to be a problem? Thanks for replies
  9. all shelter II finders replaced it incorrectly.....or so I say
  10. And my ride currently because my unicycle is broken By the way im not 11 im 17
  11. would it be wrong to add a extra log if the owner wont replace the full on, and soggy is a good question
  12. Google Maps http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=37.248040,-...07632&t=k&hl=en How someone else found it with Google Maps http://www.livejournal.com/community/the_u...956.html#cutid1
  13. nothing wrong with returing......if.......you do not post a find. If you return you post a note saying you reterived it. Welcome to Geocaching
  14. I have a skateboard bearing metal container.....its the same thing as a altoid tin container. I have some ideas about making a cache that would use the bearing idea. But ive read nothing good about altoid finds. What do you think about Altoid containers?
  15. I know for computers there is a quote "The computer is only as smart as the user" or somthing like that which means most cachers wont have a problem
  16. where do you find a city map to do triangleation?
  17. im basicly single. i think JK LOL (boy im gonna get flamed for this)
  18. It shows that CCCooperAgency has hidden 407 caches, how does she keep track and make sure there all maintained?
  19. im a newbie but im pretty sure "TFTF" actually means "Thanks for the Find"
  20. I think as long as you show the image in respect, in a way that promotes geocaching and TB's. (Just my opinon)
  21. If its in a storm drain, most cachers dont want to pull out a slimy cache container.
  22. thanks, i guess i have to save some money to become a member.
  23. You hear about people actully on there way so they can be the first to find then another cacher runs by only to get there first. Kinda odd. But anyways, since this is so competiative, how do I do a serch for 1st to find in only my area. The cache page tells you about new caches but not in your area but the entire country. How do you search for Brand New caches in your area? How do you search for caches that have not been found in a while, besides just doing a local serach and going through the 10 pages?
